ドラマや本による勉強は、確かに勉強にはなっているんだけれど、役に立っているかと言えばなかなか難しい。覚えたはずの新しい表現の大部分は、数日後（ひどいときは翌日）には頭のなかから綺麗さっぱりいなくなってしまっているのだ。なんというザル頭。。。
こんな時、英語を覚えることのコツは、「実際に自分で使う」のが一番である。
つまり、何度も繰り返して読めば覚えることは出来るが、またすぐ忘れる。もう一度読んで、また忘れる。これを忘れないようにするには、実際に自分で使ってみて、頭で覚えると言うよりは体で覚えてしまうのだ。こうするとその後に忘れてしまう確率は劇的に下がる。
そうやってすぐ実践応用できる、というのが留学生活の大きな利点である。
ぜひ活用しなければ。。。と思いつつ、なかなか難しいんだけどね。頑張れ、私。
