Nine Inch Nails' New Drummer: Ilan Rubin

With great pride and excitement I announce the addition of Ilan Rubin to the lineup beginning next year. I had the chance to see Ilan playing his ass off at Reading and Leeds a couple summers ago and he blew me away. We recently invited him out to rehearse with us and he blew US away - the perfect guy to pick up the sticks after Josh leaves us at the end of the year.

そういや、アメリカに住んでた頃MTVでこのビデをみたことあったなあ。「EMOだな」とか思ったのを覚えている。

Josh Freeseの後釜にこんなに若いの（20歳）入れて大丈夫なのかなあ…。3ヶ月足らずでクビになったAlex Carapetisみたいなことにならないといいけどね。Rich Fownesみたいに、ツアーが始める前にNINとしてのステージを一度も踏まずに変わっちゃう可能性も全くないわけではないが。

某英語の掲示板に「Trentはドラマーの予算のほどんどをJoshで使っちゃったから、若くて安いドラマーしか雇えなかったんじゃないの？」と冗談半分で書いたら、「それ当たってるかもよ。最近のインタビューでJustinが、『Beckのとこをクビになったのは、マネージメントがミュージシャンを若くて安いのに変えて金を節約しろってBeckに言ったからだ』って言ってたよ」というレスがついた。
