うれしかったこと

今日アパートのプールで泳いだ時、携帯電話をプールサイドに置き忘れてきてしまった。

部屋に戻ってから３０分ほどして気付き、アパートのセキュリティーに連絡し、一緒になって電話を

置いていたテーブルの回りを探したが見つからなかった。

激しく後悔していたところ、「見つかりましたよ」とあとでセキュリティーの人が部屋に届けて

くれた。

　

オレは感激して以下のような手紙をアパートのGeneral Managerに書いた。

書き終わってすぐに受付の人に託し、General Managerに渡してくれと告げた。

「心配しなくて良いよ。　これはみなさんのサービスに感銘を受けたということが書いてあるの

だから。」と付け加えると、彼の顔がぱっと明るくなって、それは受付係のことも含まれているの

ですかと聞く。

オレは「ああそうだよ。　みんなのチームワークのことについて書いてある。」と言った。

彼はとてもうれしそうに手紙を受け取り、明日の朝General Managerに手紙を渡すと言った。

I am writing to general manager, because I was impressed with your security level and 

employee education.

It was my fault that I forgot my Nokia cell phone on the table by the swimming pool.

I forgot to pick up my phone when I left the pool.

You would imagine how I was upset when I noticed I left my phone after 40 minutes.

I contacted the customer service and looked for my phone with your security people.

However, there was no phone at that place.

I almost gave up the phone and was feeling deep reglet.

After few minutes, your security guy XXX delivered my phone to the room.

He said that a gardener picked up the phone.

I was so delighted when delivered. It was a great experience.

I would like to express my thankfulness to the employees who helped find my phone.
