2台目1940 Johnson HD-15 - 2.5 hp outboard motor

この２．５ＨＰのエンジンは、１台以前に入手したのですが、シリンダヘッドがどうしても外れないので、パーツ取用として入手したものです。
リコイルスタータがありません。
でも、実物をみないとわかりませんが、また、シリンダヘッドが外れないかもしれません。
デザインは、アール・デコ(機会時代設計)なのです。

This auction is for a 1940 Johnson HD-15 2.5 hp outboard motor.  It is missing the recoil on top of the motor, but can be rope started.  These pull starters show up from time to time on Ebay...so a keen eye could make a complete motor for eye candy or to put back in service following a tune-up.  The motor seems to have compression and my guess is this motor could be either restored and run again, or would make a nice wall-hanger at the cabin or beach house.

This type of motor is a wonderful example or reliability and art deco, machine age design.

This motor is however over 50 years old and therefore is sold as-is for parts.
