2006年8月、私は素晴らしい人々に会った。
新潟でまた暖かく迎えてくれた方々、そしてキャンプに参加した
アジア各国から、また日本の学生たちからなる仲間。
この地球上には何十億もの人が生きていて、世界は広い。
その中で出会う、ということはとても貴重なこと。
その出会いは偶然ではないと感じている。
参加者のみんなと本番前に踊りの練習をしていた時に、
私がアジアに興味を持ったきっかけを思い出した。
5年前、英語の勉強をするためニュージーランドに短期留学をした。
クラスメイトがほぼアジアの国の出身で、話すうちに彼らの優しさに
感動し、「アジアの国が仲良くなっていくために役に立ちたい」と思った。
そのことがきっかけで朝鮮半島のアリランと日本のよさこいをミックスした
踊りのチーム「はなこりあ」に参加。それから2年半が経つ。
アジア留学生フォーラム事務局長の佐々木さんが、
この踊りや理念を気に入ってくれたこと。
昨年の初めての新潟キャンプに、踊りの代表者をサポートするために
参加を決めたこと。
それらすべてがあって、今回のキャンプ参加がある。
今回も参加できた事に、とても感謝している。
一緒に参加した皆の一人一人の顔を思い出すと
涙が出そうになるのはなぜだろう。
神社で感じた大自然の見守り。
暖かく迎えてくれる松代の方々の明るさと思いやり。
一緒に参加した、みんなの笑顔。。
すべて心の中にあり、東京での生活の支えになっている。
出会えた奇跡に感謝を込めて。

I met so wonderful people. People in Niigata who welcomed with warm
heart, and students from foreign countries and Japan.
There are so many people on the earth, so it's so precious we can meet.
I remembered that why I had interested in Asia. I went to New Zealand for
study English only just one month, 5 years before. At that time, I could to
know that friends from Asian countries have so kindly heart. I had so heart
moved, at that time, I thought I hope to do something for make good
relationship between Asian countries. The reason why I join the dance that
Korean traditional song [ARIRAN] and Japanese YOSAKOI mixed.
There are some factors that I could join this camp,
Mr.Sasaki like this dance's concept, and last summer's camp,
I decided to join for support our dance leader.
As a result, I could join, and now I really appriciate it.
I don't know why my tears fall down when I remember this member's face,
one by one.
I felt big love (see and garde) from great nature at the shurine.
also felt cheerfulness and kindness, people in Matsudai.
and our member's smile.
Everything in my heart and supprt me.
I really appriciate for I could meet so kindly people.
