こんにちわ。陽菜です徳島阿波踊りに行ってきました。エーデルさんと徳島でポコアポコさんに合流して３艇での楽しいクルージングでした。阿波踊りはとても感動しました。ヨット連での阿波踊り参加もよき思い出となりました。豊島さんは１日早く阿波踊りに来て県庁前の中央桟橋近くに係留して陸電もとれたようです。我々とちょうど入れ違いになったようです。来年は浴衣持参で参加したいとは全員の意見ですが？

Hi ！there, I wanna tell you my short cruise for4 days during Obon holiday by my boat without any planed destination.　
Talking of summer holidays in Japan,people have different length oftime,some will have a long period others will have not.... So, some people left for fardistant Nagasaki in Kyusyu other group left for Miyajima . They can enjoy10-14days long voyage by their boats. Obviously I am envious of them.
To make matters worse I don't have any crew to help me,so I asked my friend to find someone to help my boat. Luckily I was able to have a couple to join me. He is skillful for a sailing and his wife can cook well. We left early in the morning with one fellow boat with a married couple on board.
First stop was Fukura port in Awagi. We moored our boat to a floating jetty next to a toll campsite for motorists which is very popular with young famillies these days.
We visited a hotel standing on the hill to take a bath. After dark,young man came to us and said " We own this jetty so you should go immedietely." Actually we had turn on a generator to drive an air conditioner at this moment which means it was noisy in a quiet area.
Probably someone staying in a tent gave a complaint to an office because he had paid some money to rent a tiny square. We said. " Now it's dark outside it must be hard to move somewhere. If you insist on us moving we will move off from your jetty and will lie at anchor. We won't swich off the generator.
If you allow us to moor at your jetty we will turn it off ." He went back to his office and appeared again with his boss and said. " You can stay here free but please stay silently." I should have thought about this myself.......
We should have asked them first....a little bit hard to use an air conditioner next to campers
Next morning,where shall we go? Awa dance will be held tonight in Sikoku I have never seen this famous dance but onT.V. I wanna go and join.
We still have a time so shall we go to Naruto first? We approached Naruto strait from the east where it's famous for the whirling current . We took Konaruto narrow from the west after we had passed the bridge. This is like a river. We enjoyed this nusual landscape for a while. After our return to Naruto Kaikyou we arrived at Tokusima and checked the place where we could moor by computer with GPS. We found it on the screen. Wow it's located in front of the prefectural office building.The Awa dance yacht race has been held today and the winner has already moored their boat here as they have reached the goal. My friend's boat has been registered with this race. He still hasn't finished the race.
We with Bunta our dog got to the main street . It took us just only a few minutes. I wanted to put a Yukata on to join this festival. We can see Awa dance here and there ,maybe there are four places in Tokusima. We joined one of them.

Each group have approximately 50 or 80people dressed in the same costume or Yukata.
They have several Japanese lanternes on the top of a bar which says **group.
Talking of our group we have several lantern which says yacht group and several big drums but not costumes. Each one of us was wealing a diffrent dirty sweaty cloths in addition I was with a dog on a wheel chair. Wow so so messy ,standing out from other groups. We were waiting for the start.
We will walk dancing on the street shouting "Yacht! Yacht."for about 200m and so many spectators are looking at us sitting on both sides of a street. Now time has come,beat the drum Dou
Dou Dododo.... getting exciting .... You know ,as the proverb says Stupid person who is dancing and also stupid who is watching him,both are stupid ,therefore it's better to do dancing. Shall we dance? We enjoyed until late at night.
Actually around 85sailboats joined this yacht racing which means over 100boats are mooring here 、so many boats jammed all the pier. Each boat has 7-12 crew members which means some won't sleep in the cabins. I saw some people sleeping on the deck and jetty.
I decided to turn off the generator around midnight so that the neighborhood will be able to sleep well. I should give a lot of care to neighbors in the crowd. Actually this bahaviour made me happy at the accident of next morning. We took a breakfast in the cabin ,there was a
nice wind for sailing. A friend of mine called and told me that he was in trouble.
His boat couldn't move because an anchor line entangled his boat. It was a tough job to remove this line in a windy weather. Eventually his boat was released from a jetty. I remember that other boat were dealing with this same problem this morning. 　to next page
