MY MOTHER IS A KIMONO TAILOR
My mother is a kimono tailor. She served her apprenticeship as a kimono tailor for six years in Kyoto after
she graduated from high school. According to her teacher, my mother always practiced sewing late into the
night even after other students went to bed. Her efforts were crowned with the championship in the national kimono-making contest in 1985.

久しぶりにきもの♪
