There are three types of divorce in Japan

when failed to reach an agreement by talk, the family court will decide
following the court proceeding

­¨Request the court to give written advice to the other party

­©When no response to the written advice

­ªRequest for compulsory execution
Request the court or notary public office to send the written agreement to
the other party and receive service certificate. Then go to the competent
regional court to request the compulsory execution.


CALCULATION OF CHILD SUPPORT
When the parties have not reached an agreement on the amount of child support,
it is the court to finally decide the amount.
