糸数城跡の木

沖縄南部の糸数城跡は、訪れる観光客もほとんどない場所です

でも、その堂々とした作りは、じっくり歩き回る価値のあるものです

いちど行ってみて下さい

那覇は都会です

泊まったホテルの窓から撮影しました

初めて沖縄に行ったときは、建物の作りが本土とは全然違うので驚きましたが

今では、行く度に、「帰ってきたぞー」という気持ちが湧いてきます

のんびりと、ゆったりと、木々の間を飛ぶさまは、

いつ見ても優雅です

そして、いつまでも見とれてしまいます

沖縄の植物は生きている

あたり前だけれど、でも、改めてそう感じる

沖縄の植物は生きている

うっそうと茂る下草

たくましく上に伸びる幹

沖縄の植物は、見ているだけで、元気が出る

How many lives?

How many lives must be lost
How many souls must suffer
Until we come to the understanding
That we are similar
We are alike
That we are capable of loving each other

Instead of fearing
Instead of hating
Those who are different

No matter
No matter
Religion or race
Money or pride

Such age we must put an end to
A new age we must open the door to

Time to realize
Finally realize

Instead of fighting
Instead of attacking
In order to keep our happiness

Time to realize
Finally realize

Sacrificing ourselves
Putting the happiness of others before ours

Is the only means
To what we haven’t been able to
Bring out with the effort of us humans
During the whole
The whole of the history of our race
