お久しぶりです。
さて、こないだの拝島駅の続きですが・・
よく、いろんな駅の最後尾にこんな標識があります。
「急行種別確認」とか
「１０両停止位置確認」
なんかはよく見ますし、
大きな駅名が書いてある場合もあります。
道路標識なんかもそうですが、
注意を促すために「わかりやすさ」「簡潔さ」
が標識に求められます。
この場合は、車掌さんが停車時間を確認するように
（拝島駅は青梅線と武蔵五日市線の合流駅）
標識がしゃべっているわけです。
それでは、これは？
すいません。私もわかりません。
２ドアの車両が来て、通常の４ドアの車両の乗車口に並んだ
お客様を置いてけぼりにしないように？
という意味？
たしかホリデー快速と、青梅ライナーは２ドアだったはず・・
拝島で分割併合が行われる「ホリデー快速」の
切り離し位置です。
切り離した後は奥多摩・青梅行きと
武蔵五日市行きにそれぞれ分かれます。
いろんな標識があるものですね。
