写真はパタヤのバスターミナルで撮影したものです。高速道路に関して
少し抜けている箇所があるので、追加しました。
特徴的なことは、北と東には高速道路が並行に二本ずつ伸びていること
です。北はアユタヤ方面で、バンパイン、ハイテック、ロジャナーなど
の大きな工業団地があります。東はチョンブリー、ラヨーン方面で、ア
マタナコン工業団地があります。その先にはイースタンシーボードなど
の大きな工業団地があります。
道路の舗装状況は、日本に比べると若干劣りますが、読書はできる程度
です。（某国では、途中で何段階にもわたり役人がお金を抜くため、最終
的には予算の半分くらいしか道路の舗装に使われないと聞きました。）
確かに、マニラやハノイの郊外の高速道路は整備されつつありますが、
陸上交通のインフラに関してはタイの方が一枚上だと思われます。
This photo was taken at a bus terminal in Pattaya. I added some
parts of highways.
One of the remarkable things is that there are two parallel highways
to the north and east. Ayuttaya is to the north and there are large
industrial estates, such as Bangpa-in, Hi-tech, Rojana. Chon Buri
and Rayong are to the east and there is Amarta Nakorn Industrial
Estate. Eastern Sea Borad locates beyond it.
The roads are paved well. Though the quality is a bit less than that of
Japan, it is possible to read books. (I hear that in a certain country
only a half of budget is applied to pavement because several layers of
officials pick a part of the resource.)
Though currently the suburbs of Manila and Ha Noi have modern
highways, I think that Thailand is better than them in land
transportation infrastructure.
