これを見ていつも思うのですが、そのうち落ちて人に当たる心配はない
のでしょうか。

でも、活気がある感じがして好きです。

香港には、タイで働いていた時に管理職の社員旅行以来行っていません。
2003年８月です。

去年の９月にトランジットの際に１泊しようかと考えたのですが、10年以上
の付き合いがある旅行代理店のお姉さんの次の言葉で、取りやめました。
「香港に１泊するお金があればタイで３泊できる。」

発展途上国ばかり行っていると、先進国・地域に足が遠のいてしまいま
す。空港を除き、香港の写真の在庫もかなり限られたものとなっていま
す。

Whenever I look at these signboards, I wonder someday some of them
may drop and hit pedestrians.

However, I like this lively atmosphere.

The last time I visited Hong Kong was August, 2003 when I joined an
employer sponsoring trip arranged for managers. I worked in
Bangkok, then.

To tell the truth, the last September I was thinking of staying one
night Hong Kong when I visited for transit. However, I gave up the
idea when a lady in travel agent, whom I know for more than a
decade, said as follows.

“You can stay in Thailand for three days with a one night budget for
Hong Kong.”

The more I visit developing countries, the less motivation I have for
visiting industrial countries and areas. Thus, now I have very limited
stock of photos taken in Hong Kong except for the airport.

海に巨大なワニがいました (A big crocodile on the sea)

今日は日曜日なので、くだらない記事をアップします。

バンコクから香港へあと20分くらいのところです。何となく外を見て
いると、ワニみたいな島があったので、写真に収めました。

Since it is Sunday today, I am posting a worthless article.

This place is roughly 20-minute flight to Hong Kong. I was seeing
outside on the way from Bangkok without any purposes and found an
island which looks like a crocodile. Then I took the photo.

７年前の短い夏季休暇は香港で過ごしました。
最後の日の午後に撮影したものです。

先月タイに行った帰りに香港で１泊するかについて迷っていました。
しかし、もう10年以上付き合いのある旅行代理店のお姉さんから、
香港で１泊するお金とタイで３泊するお金は同じだと言われ、香港
は乗換えただけにしました。

Hong Kong was the destination of my short summer vacation seven
years ago. This photo was taken on the afternoon of the last day.

I was irresolute whether I stayed in Hong Kong on my way from
Thailand. However, a lady of a travel agent, whom I know for more
than a decade, commented that one-night budget for staying in Hong
Kong was equal to three-night budget for staying in Thailand. I
followed her view and the transit was the only purpose of the visit.

香港のトラムと二階建てバス

私はトラムが好きです。トラムの二階からのんびりと街を眺めな
がら過ごす時間はなかなかいいものです。

香港島と九龍の往復にも、極力スターフェリーを使います。僅
かな時間ですが、海の上から山をバックに聳え立つビル群をの
んびりと見るのはいいものです。

これらは旅行者だからそう思うだけで、住んでしまうと、地下鉄
ばかりを利用することとなると思います。
