パッチギ！


1968年の京都。
在日朝鮮人と日本人の高校生の姿を描いた映画です。

うちのお母さんは、ぴったりこの映画と同年代で、
「意外と忠実に当時のことが再現されてるわ。」
と喜んでいました。
1968年当時、うちのお母さんは西宮に住んでいて、
リアルタイムで朝鮮高校生と日本の高校生のバトルの噂を耳にしていたそうです。


この映画、面白かったです。
そして、深く考えさせられるものがありました。


まずね、「鉄下駄」。
35年前は、ホントに履いてる人が居たんですね。
鍛えるため、そして武器として。
それって、すごくカルチャーショック！！
マンガの世界だけの話かと思ってました。
と、いいますか、マンガの世界でも実際に目にしたことがあるかないか微妙です。
良く見てなかったんですけど、鼻緒は布なんでしょうか？


次に、ケンドーコバヤシ。
好きなんです。彼のことが。
いまは関東圏なのでね･･･。彼のことをテレビで観ることは殆どありません。
切ないです。
大学時代は、深夜番組で彼を観ては涙を流し、腹を痛めてました。
そしたら、この映画に出てるじゃないですか。
しかも高校生役。33歳なのに。
ステキでした。
ああ、ケンコバが早く全国区の芸人になることを心から祈っています。


次に「イムジン河」。
朝鮮半島を分断する河らしいです。
川ひとつ挟んだ向こう側は、文化も制度も何もかもが違う国で、
自由に行き来することも出来ない。
島国の日本では考えられませんね。
この「イムジン河」のことを歌ったうたは、当時の日本では放送禁止だったそうです。
日本語の歌詞を聴いても、政治的なことなんて何も言ってないのに。
不思議ですね。



当時の高校生と若者。
この映画を観て、当時の高校生や大学生は現在に比べてパワフルだなと思います。
「何かを変えたい」「今の状況をうち破りたい」という熱いエネルギーを持って
いたように感じました。
現代の若者は、私も含めて、色々なことに無関心ですよね。
自由にうたを歌っても良くなったり、海外の色々なニュースや出来事を
簡単に知ることが出来て、視野が広がったように思っても、
何かをやろうとするエネルギーがなかったら、何にも変わらない。
と言うよりも変えることは出来ないんだろうなー。
なんて事を考えさせられました。



人種とか国籍とか、そういうこと。
この辺のことは、わたしは「みんなが仲良くやったらいいじゃない」的な
そんな漠然とした、幼稚で短絡的な考えしか持っていません。
けど、歴史とか、現在に至るまでの様々な出来事を通して考えると、
そう簡単なものじゃないんですよね。
私は、恥ずかしい話、あまり歴史は得意ではないので、何とも言えませんが。
歴史や伝統は継承すべきものであるけど、それに伴う感情、特に「憎しみ」は
継承しなくてもいいものなんじゃないかな、と思います。
そりゃあ、肉親が戦争で亡くなったとか、そういう悲しみや恨みは消せないものです。
けど、どこかで憎しみを断ち切らないと、いつまで経っても「みんな仲良く」は
出来ないですよね･･･。
なんて、私みたいな小娘が言うのはおこがましいですが。
この映画を観て思ったことや感じたことは記録として残しておこうと思いました。



そんなこんなで、色々なことを考えさせられる映画です。
上に書いてあるような訳のわからんことを感じるだけでなく、
みんなで持ち上げてバスを横転させるとか、はやりの髪型を笑われたりだとか、
恋する気持ちだとか、そういう青春映画としても楽しめる映画です☆
