What will the S signify? If we can believe the internet rumor mill, the S will stand for something like Sport and will be slapped onto the Maserati GranTurismo's rear end. Last year Maserati surprised friend and foe with their new GranTurismo but critics were quick to point out the lack of real sportiness on the GT, which should be remedied with the GranTurismo S. The Maserati GranTurismo S will most likely feature the same engine as the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, a 4.7 liter V8 pumping out 440 hp. Five teaser quotes reveal to us the following, that the GranTurismo S will have a dual-clutch transmission capable of 1/10th of a second shifts, should be at 100 km/h from standstill in 4.9 seconds and should be at a halt again in just 35 meters. Maserati will be releasing additional info tomorrow. 早くも出るようですね。。。 4.7L 8cのエンジンですね!440馬力で 0~100km 4.9秒 デュアルクラッチでシフトスピードは0.01って事みたいです。DSGなのでしょうか? ボディサイズに馬力があってきました。 ブレーキもSports GTSと同じパフォマンスプレーキで100kmからフルブレーキングで35m! 8ポッドでしょうか…。いいな〜。 しかしまだ重いと思われますので、後は軽量化バージョンでしょうか？
