今日は１月３１日。

プロアクテイブにヤフーブログを続ける事が出来なくなりました。

友達になってくれた人達、友達になってくれて

去った人達にお礼申します。　フェイスブックで続けていますのでよかッ　たらお立ち寄りください。月に２～３度顔出すつもりでいます。

最近おもしろい会話の場を紹介されて、これは国際的に広がっている会話の場で日本にもある事

と思っていますがフェイスブックに一寸自分の感じた事を書き込みました。

次のようです。

"Death Cafe". The name may sound horrible to some people. However, I realized it is a serious matter when my dear friend suffering from ALS told me, “I don't want to live while unconscious, lying on the bed strapped with all those plastic tubes”. He asked me if I could find out where and how he can die without his physician’s interference. That's when I started to think about death, not only his but also my own. Oh, yes, Jack Kevorkian's name came to my mind along with the words "Euthanasia!", "Hemlock Society", "Dignity with Death", "Right to Die", "Compassion and Choices”.

It is correct to say that medical doctors' missions are to save the lives of those who suffer, and to refuse treatment is against the law. Here’s one scenario: a frail 90 year old woman who had a heart valve problem. The doctor said the valve had to be replaced otherwise she would die. Her children and relatives wanted her to live. With all hope for her life, surgery was done, but the poor frail old woman passed away after 2 weeks while tubed and wired up, under unconsciousness. She just could not tolerate such drastic surgery. Then came the hospital bill of $250,000. Who pays? The old lady? The children? Had she wanted to live? She might have thought she would have been better off dead. We don’t know as she was in such a frail distressed condition. That’s when I started thinking that “upon my death I would not like to leave any burden on anyone who survives me. If I ever get sick and can not take care of myself, I would rather end my life! No burden on my wife nor children. I think that’s very fair! I would prepare my will so there would be no probate and those left behind would know what to do”.

I used to think it was taboo to talk about death, and I would be crazy to talk about my own death. But my dear friend with ALS woke me up. It is a good thing to talk about death openly when it is inevitable.

Don’t get me wrong, I am very healthy and mentally sound, but this is a good opportunity to participate in a lively dialog while respecting each other’s thoughts. I am looking forward to the Death Café gathering.

１月３１日簡単な夕食　　ヴィエトナム　フォー

What I hear from our daughter-in-law, Ramen(Japanese noodle) restaurants are

popping up in NY. I see quite few shoppers are buying instant Ramen.
Ramen served in restaurants comes in many flavors and quite tasty.
Here in Indy, I don't find Ramen restaurants nearby. So we always go to our
favorite Vietnamese restaurant and have our favorite Pho which is Vietnamese style

noodle soup. Very, Very tasty!

簡単な夕飯ということでイタリアンペネパスタ、、、、ペネパスタ，ドライ苔、バジルペスト、トマトソース、ドライグリーンオニオンをプレッシャークッカーで１４分で出来上がり。　みかんとアボカドのサラダーーーはい準備できました！

Whenever I see daffodils、the poem by William Wordsworth comes alive.

巨大な風による電気発電塔が何百個と立っているインデアナのホワイトカウンテイー地区。

３００余個のウインドミルがこの農業地区に立っていて農家は土地を貸して農業以外に収入を

得ている。　太陽光線や風、海の波などからのリサイクルエネルギーは環境問題解決に大きな

影響があることでしょう。

ヤフーブログの友達

８年前ほどヤフーのブログをはじめました。４年ほど続けたところ、たくさんの人達を友達になりましたがヤフーブロガーさん達は殆どが匿名で何処の誰だかが判らす架空の人と話している感じで止めてしまいました。フェイスブックもその頃やっていました。フェイスブックでは自分の名を明らかにしていてもっとオープンだなと感じでたくさんの友達、そして意味ある意見の交換などで交流していました。　この１月からまたヤフーブログを復活して日本の人達と

友達を作り何かと交流しようと努力してきました。２０人ほどのヤフーブログ友達ができましたが、その友達さんが少なくとも何処に住んでいるのかそして名前も判らずですという状態です。　非公開は個人の好みでしょうがなんだか友達になってもせつない感じですね、、、、、、２０１６年になってようやく一ヶ月ほどこのヤフーブログを続けましたがやはりなんだかまた架空のように感じます。このヤフーブログの形式はこれでいいのでしょうが、私はやはり名前の付いた人と友達になり交流しようと思います。この一ヶ月のお付き合いをありがとうございました。　もしのチャンスがあれば私のフェイスブックのコラムを訪れてくださいね、、、、此処には時折投稿するつもりです。

今日は映画デーニッシュガールを鑑賞。

トランスジェンダーの夫と妻の真実の愛、エデイレッドメインの演技はすばらしく、およそまぶたが熱くなるほど、また

妻の夫への愛がまた夫の妻への愛が胸に打たれる。最近観た映画のなかではこの映画がもっとも忘れがたい映画になるだろう。

Movie Danish Girl is a wonderful, heart wrenching, heart warming movie in recent months. Based on a true

story of a husband who realized a woman in him. It's a story of a transgender. He was married to a painter

wife. Awakening of a woman within himself, dealing with the heart aching problem, and love between

husband and wife are painfully yet lovingly told. Eddy and Alicia are acting superbly.The Danish Girl will be one of the most unforgettable movies I've seen recently. I recommend everyone to see it. :)

１ドル札で折った蟹、それとも南京虫？

I was given this paper folding, well it's a dollar bill folding, which resembles a crab, and it's a cute thing, or it looks like a bedbug too. I don't mind thousands of bedbugs crawling around my bed if they are made out of dollar bills. LOL
