Farewell party&Halloween

Today, I had a farewell party for my friend. she is going back to Japan soon.
More and more friends have gone back to their countries recently.
We were supposed to meet at 6 o'clock, but brfore one hour, the other friends and I met and wrote her messages. Two days ago, it was her birthday.
After we met her, we went to a bar, and drank just a glass of beer and had dinner.
We enjyed talking about our classmates, teachers, and so on.
After dinner we gave her a bithday card, a chocolate whose shape is pumpkin ghost and Canadian flag. She looked very happy.

Halloween is coming. There were some people who was wearing Halloween costume.
They made us fun!! For example, I saw a baby, pirate, bunny, Zoro, eac...
I hadn't done anything on Halloween, so I'm looking forward to coming the day.
One of my friend got a cloak and he followed other people.
He wore it!
Many people gazed at him.
When I was his back when he was walking I laughed loudly!
He looked so cool!
and funny...

I wanna wear something, too!!
I'm thinking if I wear or not...
What can I wear something funny?

うわ〜緊張!!

緊張しまくりでした。こんなに緊張したのは面接以来。
昨日、JALの方とのお食事会に行ってきました。
さらに人見知りが激しいので本当にどうしていいことやら・・・？
しかも私の隣におられた方は日本人なんですがカナダで生まれ育った方なのであまり日本語は得意ではないそうなのです。
英語はぺらぺらですが。。。
んじゃあ、英語の練習に英語で話せばいいんですが、まず何を話そう？？
って！共通の趣味があるじゃない!!スキーのインストラクターもされてるくらいスキーの腕前はすごいらしいのです。
私もスキーは毎年行くし今年も帰国前にウイスラーに行く予定だから・・・
スキーの話すれば盛り上がるじゃん!!
でも緊張と人見知りで・・・てかスキーの何を語れと？？
結局他に話上手な方がいらしたのでその方が面白い話で私たちを楽しませてくださいました。
さらに真面目な仕事の話も聞けました！お客様に対するサービスとは何か？みたいな。
１０分ほどの少しの出発の遅れをいちいち知らせることより、知らせることにかかる時間を省くことでより定刻に近い時間に飛行機を離陸させることの方がよりよいサービスなのではないか？というのがその方の考え方でした。
他に面白い話は、麻薬を額の裏に隠して持ち込もうとした人の話や、仕事の時の失敗談など私には新鮮な話をたくさん聞けました!!
貴重な時間をありがとうございました。
最後に冬に一緒にスキーに行きましょうと約束をしてその日はお開き。
本当にスキー連れて行ってくださ〜い(^o^)丿

See again?

I have a Swiss friend. Last month, he went back to Switzerland.
And on the same day, my Japanese friend was also supposed to go back to Japan.
I went to the airport to see them off.
We enjoyed talking and haveing lunch together.
At 2 o'clock, it was time to say "Good-bye".
However, we didn't wanna say that, so we said "See you later".
We hope we can see again.
I saw my friends until they disappered into the gate.
I really missed them.
At that time I felt sad because it was difficult see them again, especially Swiss friend.
Switzerland and Japan are too far.
I hope I go to Switzerland someday.

However, it was far earlier than I expected.
It was really easy to see my Swiss friend again.

The next day, I went to the airport to work.
Then I saw many people in front of check in counters.
And I found a man who I know.
"Matthias!!"
I was surprised and called his name.
He turned to me and smiled.
I was happy but wondered why he was still in Vancouver.
He told me that the plane which he ought to have taken had a technical probrem.
That was why he needed to stay here one more day.
It was luck!!
I hoped very much to see him again but who knew that my dream came true so soon?!
And the day, he went back to his country safely.

Matthias, I'm waiting for the day when I see you again.

スタバでトホホ・・・

バンクーバーのダウンタウン。
絶対おかしい。
スタバの異様な数。
日本のコンビにに匹敵する数のスタバがここ、バンクーバーにはある。
日本でもコンビニが２つ向かい合っていたりするがここではスタバがそうだ。
そしてコンビにはというと
あんまりない。
コンビニがどこでもある日本に慣れた私は不便でしょうがない。
自販機もない。

で。
喉が渇いたら・・・？
スタバ。
私はあまりコーヒーが好きじゃないから紅茶をいつもオーダー。
しかしここでいつも問題発生。
オーダーが通じない(?_?)
「Shaked Iced Tea」
を頼むんだからもちろん
「シェイクド アイスド　ティー、プリーズ」
何度も聞き返される。
４、５回言い直してやっと理解される。
何度チャレンジしても理解されない。
これはどうやら私の発音が悪いのでは？
そこで学校の先生に正しい発音を聞いてみた。
「あのー、シェイクド　アイスド　ティーってどうやって発音するんですか？？」
「？」
先生も何のことやらさっぱりの様子。
そこでホワイトボードに書いたら
「あー、シェイクンナイスティー？」
・・・・・・・全然違う。
そりゃ通じないはずだ。
次からはかっこよく
「シェイクンナイスティー、プリーズ♪」
というと一発で通じるようになった。
あー恥ずかし。
でもどこをどうやったらあのスペルでそんな発音になるわけ？

I like shopping but I like to save money.
These two seem to contradict each other,but not.
Why do I save money?
Because I'd like to buy something.
When I save money, I expect to get it.
Even if I don't have anything to buy, I go on saving money.
Why do I keep saving money?
Because I don't know when I need money to buy bling-bling!!
When I save money, I expect to come to want to get it.
I save and use money constantly.
I spend a lot of money to buy clothes.
I always follow the fashion.
