What's up??

バレンタインって何の日？？

今更ながらバレンタインについて。
カナダにいるとき「日本では２回バレンタインがあるんでしょ？？」とよく聞かれた。
バレンタインデーとホワイトデー。
日本ではバレンタインは女の子が好きな男の子にチョコを渡す日である。
しかしこれは近年変化しているように思う。

そもそもなぜバレンタインデーは女の子が男の子にチョコを渡す日になったのだろう？？
私は逆の方がいいのではないかと思う。なぜならバレンタイン用のチョコは見た目もかわいい。かわいいチョコは男の子より女の子の方がもらってうれしいのではないか？？
ちなみに私はチョコが大好きだ。しかし私の彼氏はチョコが嫌いである。だから彼氏が私にチョコをくれる予定だった。（結局ペアリング買いました♪）

女の子だってチョコ欲しい！！と思っている人は多いはず。その証拠に最近は女の子同士で手作りのチョコを持ち寄り、交換することが多いのだ。その方が楽しいのである。
こうなれば男の子は蚊帳の外だ。
何年か後にはバレンタインは女の子同士でチョコを交換する日になっているかも？

Nursing care...

My grandmother is a senile old woman.
She doesn't remember me and when she sees me, she always says, 'Who are you??'
She doesn't remember anyone.

She is always at a nursing home, so I hardly see her.
But she is suffered from Flu now, and cannot be there.
She is at home and I talk with her much more than usual.
She talks a same thing again and again, but I always listen to her well.

My family and relatives hope she passes away because they are tired of nursing her.
I think I need to help them but it's impossible.
I'm usually in Yokohama, far from my home.
But I feel an obligation to her.

When I was a child, I often cyied at midnight and was scolded by my parents.
Whenever my parents were angry to me, my grandmother helped me.
I was always waiting for her help...

Now, it's time for me to help her.
I know I should help her but I have no idea how to help her.
I'm upset and do nothing...
Only the way to help her is talk with her.
Anything else??

No medal

Now Torino Olympic is taking place.
I expect of Japanese athletes so much.
But some of them got troubles...
Japan hasn't got a medal yet.
In Japan, some people don't think Japan can get even one medal.
It can happen.

I think all athletes made efforts for this Olympic.
But there are many incredible athlete in the world.
Japanese athlete need to beat them to get medals...
It's so difficult isn't it??
But good luck and get a medal!!

名前にやられました。

「ごはんとみそしる」
こんな名前のお店を発見した。
日本人なら絶対魅力を感じるネーミングだと思う。

両親が旅行で留守だったため、兄弟だけでご飯を食べに行くことに。行き先を提案したのは私だった。なぜならこの店の名前に惹かれたからだ。
行ってみると、こじんまりとした居酒屋という風だった。メニューはお酒のおつまみはもちろん、定食もあった。私達全員は定食を注文した。
この定食は大、中、小のそれぞれのおかずをメニューの中から選べる仕組みになっていた。
私と妹は煮込みハンバーグ、揚げもち、ポテトサラダを、弟はおろしカツ、だし巻き卵、ポテトサラダを頼んだ。
もちろん、ごはんと味噌汁つき。あと漬物も。

予想通り、激うま！！
やっぱこういう和食のお店っていい！！といいながらハンバーグなんか食べてるけど・・・細かいことは気にしない。

できれば今度は男友達と二人で行って、ゆっくり飲んだりしたいなあ。。。
