毎日プールで遊んだり、ビーチでのんびりしたりしていましたが、せっかくバイクを運んできたので バイクで外出もしました。 We played in the pool and went to the beach everyday but we towed the bikes all the way so we went for some bike rides. これはマイロがプールでラフトに乗って遊んでいるところ。泳ぐのは嫌いなのに、この遊びは好きでした。 Here is Milo playing on the raft in the pool. He does not like to swim but he liked to play with it. 一度はマイロも一緒にバイクでタイティスビルまで行きました！バイクに犬・・・不思議な感じですよね？！ One time, we went for a bike ride with Milo to Titusville! A dog on a bike? You must be wondering how it works?! 実は、こうゆうキャリアにマイロを入れて走りました！マイロが見えますか？ In fact, we used a carrier like this and put Milo in it! Can you see Milo in there? 実際には私が後ろのシートにいましたよ。（＾＾）もう何度も一緒にバイクに乗っているので、 慣れているみたいです。でも、高速などで飛ばすのはあまり好きじゃないようです。（＾＾；） In the actual situation, I was there in the back seat. Milo has a lot of experience riding on the bike so he is used to it. He seems like does not enjoy speeding on freeways though. その後バイクで出かけた時は世界で一番大きいハーレーのお店に行きました。 The other time we when for a bike ride, we went to the largest Harley dealership in the world. ハーレーグッズもたくさんありました。 There were lots of Harley goods in the shop. そして、その後はデイトナインターナショナルスピードウエイへ！ Then, we went to Daytona International Speedway! この施設の中にはデイトナ５００エクスペリエンスと言うレースを体感出来る３D映画館があります。 ものすごい迫力で、見た後に疲れました！（＾＾） There is a theater called Daytona 500 Experience in the facilities and you can see a 3D movie iin there. That was overwhelming and I was tired after that! レース場内のツアーにも参加しました。最後にビクトリーレーンで記念写真を撮りました。 We took a tour of racetrack. At the end, we took a photo in the victory lane. これは帰りにお土産屋さんで見たワニの頭です！ They are some gator heads at a souvenir shop on the way home! 対応に喜んだり、とても楽しい一週間でした。是非、また行きたいと思っています。 We saw Rod's friend who hasn't seen for twenty years, and we were amazed the friendly way of people in Florida treated us, so we really enjoyed it! I would like to go there again for sure! 帰りはバイクを乗せていたトレーラーのタイヤが２度もパンクしてしまうというアクシデントに
見舞われましたが、なんとか無事に帰ってきました。 We had some accidents on the way home that the trailer carried bikes got a flat tire twice but we came home safe and sound. When I saw Murphy and Molly's face and all family members got together again, I just felt so relieved.（＾＾） |

みなさん、こんにちは！ Hi, everyone! では、フロリダ旅行の続きを。 Well, I am writing about the Florida trip again. ロッドの友達のルイスの家に滞在した私達。ルイスは普段はニューヨークに住んでいるので、 ここはセカンドハウスになります。 We stayed at Rod's friend, Lewis's house. Lewis lives in New York usually so it is a second house for him. He rent the house usually for weekly bases. 玄関から入ってすぐのリビングルーム。 This is the living room near the entrance. こちらが、ダイニングルーム。 This is the dining room. そして、ファミリールーム。 And, this is the family room. ルイスは他の部屋を使い、私達にマスターベッドルームを譲ってくれました！ Lewis used another room and let us use the master bedroom! ビリヤードとバーのある部屋。 Billiards room and wet bar. そして、加熱装置が付いた屋外のプール。 Then, this is the outdoor heated pool. プールのある裏庭には、たくさんのトカゲがいたので、マイロはトカゲハンティングに夢中でした。 In the backyard which has the outdoor pool, there were lots of lizards and Milo was really into lizard hunting. ちなみに、お見せ出来ませんがジャグジーもあったので、毎日プールの後に入ってました！（＾＾） For your information, there was a jacuzzi that I cannot show you, so I used it everday after the pool! Milo was very tired from the long trip, he slept very well on the bed. 普段この家を貸しているルイスは忙しそうにメンテナンスや買い物に追われていました。 私達は少し手伝いましたが、休暇で来たので出来るだけのんびりと過ごしました。 Since Lewis rents the house, he was swamped with some maintenance jobs and going shopping. We helped him little bit, but we went there for a vacation so we tried to just relax. 続く・・・

みなさん、こんにちは！ Hi, everybody! 今日はアップしようと思ってずーとしていなかった去年のフロリダ旅行の写真をアップしようと思います。 Today, I will post some of the pictures from Florida trip last year which I've wanted to do for a long time. 去年の９月に私にとって初めてフロリダに旅行に行きました。 We took a trip to Florida last September and that was the first time for me to go there. 私達といつも一緒に寝ているマイロはとても寂しがり屋なので、私達が一週間もいないとなると 大変なことになりそうなので、連れて行くことにしました。 Since Milo always sleeps with us and he is such a baby, being faraway from us for a week would have been very tough for him, so we took Milo with us. On the other hand, Murphy is brave and so friendly, we asked Rod's mother to take care of him in her house where he stayed in when he was a puppy. And, we took advantage of Rod's mother's kind offer, we took our cat, Molly to her house as well. 全ての準備が整い、バイク2台をトレーラでー牽引して、フロリダ州デイトナビーチに向けて出発です！ It was all set, we set off to Daytona beach, Florida towing a trailer with two bikes! ニューヨークからフロリダのデイトナビーチまでは１２５０マイル（約２０１１キロ）。 From New York to Daytona beach, Florida is 1250 miles (about 2011km.) マイロは初めのうちは興奮していましたが、私の膝の上でず〜と寝ていました。 Milo was excited at first, but he slept on my lap for long hours. 一日で行くのは大変なので、ジョージア州まで行った所でホテルにて宿泊。 It is really hard to get there only one day so we stayed at a hotel in Georgia. そして、１７時間かけて（通常は２１時間）フロリダのデイトナビーチに到着！ Finally, it took 17 hours (usually 21 hours) and we got to Daytona beach, Florida! We went to Rod's friend's house where we stayed in. 着いて暫くしてから、歩いて５分のビーチへ。 After a little while we got there, we walked to the beach that just 5 minutes away. マイロは初めてのビーチで、波が少し怖かったようです。 Since it was the first time for Milo to go to a beach, he was little scared of waves. フロリダの眩しい日差しと美しいビーチ！やっとフロリダに到着したんだって実感した時でした。 The bright sunshine and the beautiful beach!
