みなさん、こんにちは！（＾＾） Hi, everyone! 昨日の朝はマイロが大変だったんです。（＾＾；） Milo had a problem yesterday morning. 私がシャワーを浴びている間に、マイロが戻してしまいました。（−−；） Milo threw up while I was taking a shower. マイロは家の中で大も小も出来ないのですが、特に大はお店でないと出来ないんです。 Milo cannot poop or pee in the house and he can only poop at the shop especially. Sorry about a strange topic. 戻してしまうんです。 We always watch Milo not to eat too much but if he cannot hold it anymore, he throw up before getting to the shop in the morning. Milo might have had a lot of food while I was going shopping yesterday!? なので、ロッドは慌ててマイロをお店に連れて行きました。 So, Rod took Milo to the shop immediately. I decided to walk to the shop since it was sunny and I was so out of shape! 家からすぐはこんな感じ。まるで、森の中みたい！（＾＾；）でも、家はたくさんあります。 This is our neighbor area. It looks like in the woods! However, there are lots of houses. 高校が見えてきましたよ！グラウンドの設備が充実してますよね！（＠＠） I can see high school! The playground is well-equipped! こちらは教会。教会はたくさんあります。 Here is a church. There are many churches around there. 小学校です。日本の小学校とはちょっと違う感じですね。 This is elementary school. It looks little different from Japanese ones. こちらは公園。子供たちがたくさん遊んでいました！（＾＾） Here is a park. There were many kids playing there! 古い教会ような建物。 It looks like an old church. こちらも教会。ちょっとお城みたいに見えますね！ This one is also a church. It looks like a castle! そして、駅前の小さなお店やレストランたち。 Then, here are some small stores and a restaurant in front of the station. この後、ロッドのお店に無事たどり着きました！ After this, I got to Rod's shop safe and sound! 写真を撮りながらゆっくり歩いたので、１時間３０分掛かっちゃいました。（＾＾；） I walked slowly and took photos so it took one and a half hours. でも、おかげで良い運動になりました！（＾＾）
However, thanks to that, it was a great exercise! |

みなさん、こんにちは！（＾＾） Hi, everyone! 楽しい週末を過ごされましたか？！ Did you have a nice weekend?! 昨日は雷雨の予報も出ていたし、ロッドはお店でやることがあったので、私一人で近くにショッピング に行ってきました。 We had a thunderstorm forecast yesterday and Rod had things to do at the shop, so I went shopping near the shop by myself. 以前にも少し記事にしましたが、これがロッドのお店から歩いて１０分くらいの所にあるショッピングモールです。 I've posted this before but here is the shopping mall which is ten minutes away from Rod's shop on foot. まず、最初に行ったのはマーシャルズ。 At first, I went to Marshalls. マーシャルズはアメリカで２番目に大きなチェーンのディスカウントのデパートです。 Marshalls is a chain, the U.S.'s second largest off-price department store. 次はペトコ。Next one is PETCO. そして、ベッド バス ＆ビヨンド。こうしてみると地上みたいだけど、３階です。（＾＾；） Then, BED BATH & BEYOND. When you take a look at it like this, it looks like on the ground but it is actually on the third floor. ２時間半くらい買い物をして、買ったものはこれです。 I hung out for about two and half hours and bought these. これ全部で＄４０（約￥４，０００）です！（＾＾） I only spent $40 (about \4000) for all of them! なんか、お得な買い物をした時ってすっごく嬉しいですよね！（●＾＾●） When you buy things with very good deals, you feel so happy! あ！これ、マイロとマーフィーのために買ってきたんだけど。。。（＾＾；）ごめんね、モリー。 Ah! I bought this one for Milo and Murphy... Sorry, Molly! 夕食はまたロッドがチキンをBBQグリルで焼いてくれました。（＾＾）美味しかったで〜す！ Rod cooked some chicken on the BBQ grill again for dinner. It was very good! と言うわけで、大満足の日曜日でした！（＾＾） Thus, It was a very satisfying Sunday! |

みなさん、こんにちは！ Hi, everyone! 先日、この町のメインストリートの写真を紹介したのですが、実はその直ぐ近くに新しくて とても大きな建物があるのです。 The other day, I showed some pictures of the main street of this town, there are new big buildings near by. 名前はザ・ウオーターフロント。 It is called "The Waterfront." スーパーマーケット、大型ペットショップ、インテリアやベッド関連のお店、Costco、映画館、 レストランなどたくさんのお店が入っています。 There are a supermarket, a pet shop, an interior and bed shop, Costco, a movie theater, some restaurants and other many shops in there. ２００５年に完成したので、まだ新しい感じで綺麗ですよね！ The buildings were finished in 2005 so they look new and beautiful! 総面積は４００，０００平方フィート。（約３７，０００平方メートル） The total area is 400,000 square feet. (about 37,000 square meter) どのくらいの大きさなのか想像がつきにくいと思いますが、ロッドのお店が結構大きくて 約８，０００平方フィートなので、ロッドのお店が５０個分です！（＠＠） It is probably hard to imagine how big it is but Rod's shop is kind of big and has an area of 8,000 square feet so it is like 50 times of Rod's shop! 奥の方にCostcoが見えますか？ Can you see Costco in the back? なので、この町は新旧両方の面が見れるし、海に面しているので私は好きです！（＾＾） Thus, I can see the both old and new sides of this town and the town faces the sea so I like this town! |

みなさん、こんにちは！ Hi, everyone! 今日はとっても天気が良い日曜日で、気温も６０度F（１６℃）まで上がったので、 お店から１０分くらいの駅の近くにあるメインストリートに行ってきました！ It was a beautiful Sunday today and the temperature went up at 60 degrees F(16℃）so I went to the main street of this town near the station, just 10 minutes away from the shop. 暗くなると、この街灯がとても綺麗なんですよ！ When it is dark, the street lamps are beautiful! ここら辺はヒスパニック系のお店がほとんどなので、私は一度も買い物をしたことはないです。 Most of the shops around here are Hispanic shops so I've never bought anything. でも、ウォルグリーンズというドラッグストアには立ち寄りました。 I stopped by Walgreens though. チェース銀行のビル。銀行はこうゆうビルが多いです。 This is Chase bank's building. Banks often use these kind of buildings. そして、この後ロッドがバイクで迎えに来てくれ、そのままバイクライドを楽しみました！ ３０分くらいの近場を走っただけですが、今年初めてのバイクライド。 風を切って走るのはとっても気持ちが良かったです！（＾＾） Then after that, Rod came to pick me up with his bike so we kept enjoying a bike ride! It was just 30 minutes or so and we went only places nearby but that was the first bike ride this year! It was wonderful to feel the wind on the bike! みなさん、素晴らしい一週間になりますように！

みなさん、こんにちは！ Hi, everybody! アメリカは今日から夏時間になりました。まだ、春になってないのに夏時間とは少し変ですね。 In the US, daylight saving time started today. Spring hasn't come yet so I feel little strange to start daylight saving time. 今までは日本との時差が１４時間でしたが、今日からは１３時間。 The time difference between Japan and the US was 14 hours but now it is 13 hours. 一時間早くなったので、皆さんが起きている時間にコメント出来るかも知れません！（＾＾） So The time is one hour earier now, I may be able to reply your comments when you are still up! でも、時間が一時間早まったり、遅くなったりするのって未だに慣れません。 However, I can never be used to the time change due to daylight saving time. 研究によると夏時間の経済的な利点はほとんど無く、かえって頭がぼや〜っとして事故などを起こすことが 多くなるそうです。 The Study shows that there is almost no ecnomic advantage of daylight saving time, instead there are more accidents occer on the day they change the time because of dwowsiness. なので、将来は止めてくれないかな〜なんて思ってます。まあ、無理でしょうが・・・（＾＾；） Because of that, I hope they will quit doing it in the future. I guess it is not going to happen... さてさて、今日は暖かだったので（１６℃）お店から歩いて１０分ほどの所にあるショッピングモールに 行ってきました！ Now then, I went shopping to the shopping mall which is just 10 minutes away on foot from the shop because it was warm(16℃）today! 大きな駐車場を囲むようにお店やデパートがたくさんあります。ちなみに、KOHL'Sは中級のデパートです。 There are lots of stores and a department store surrounding the huge parking lot. For your information, KOHL'S is a middle class department store. 右手にあるのは、よく行くスーパーマーケットです。 The right one is our usual supermarket. ペットショップやスポーツグッズのお店、パーティー用のお店もあります。 Also, there are a pet shop, sports goods store, a store for parties. そして、音楽や映画のお店も。 And then there is a store of music and movies. ずーとバッグを買っていなかった私は可愛いバッグを発見して、買ってしまいました！ Since I haven't bought any bags for a long time, I found a cute bag and bought it! なんと、＄１２．９９（約１，３００円）！中にもちゃんと２つポケットが付いてます。 It was only $12.99 (about￥1,300)! There are two pockets inside. ロッドにはピンク過ぎて眩しい！と言われたけど、私はとっても気に入りました！（＾＾） Rod says it is too pink and bright! but I love it! それに、値段が安いから壊れたり、汚れたりしても気にならないし！ Plus, since it was cheap, I don't need to worry about breaking and making it dirty! ちょっと派手だったかな・・・でも、お洋服がシンプルなのが多いから大丈夫ですよね！（＾＾；）
