みなさん、こんにちは！（＊＾＾＊） Hi, everyone! 季節の変わり目ですが、元気にお過ごしですか？ As seasons change, how are you doing, everybody? 明るい話題をブログに書きたい私ですが、今日は悲しいお知らせです。 I always want to write about cheerful subjects but I have to tell you sad news today. 私たちの猫、モリーが昨日天国に旅立ちました。(T_T) Our cat, Molly passed away yesterday. 急に涼しくなってきたからか、3日くらい前から急に動きが鈍くなり、 食べ物もお水も口にしなくなり、昨日の日曜日に亡くなりました。 Getting cold at night lately might have been the cause, she was suddenly slowing down about three days ago. She could not eat any food or drink water, then passed away on Sunday. モリーが１・２歳の時に、ロッドが動物保護施設から家族として受け入れました。 Rod adopted Molly from an animal shelter when she was one or two years old. After that, she stayed at Rod's old shop and current shop as a mascot. 2年前くらいから、マイロとマーフィーとも仲良くできるようになりました。（＾＾） She started to get along well with Milo and Murphy about two years ago. 2匹の新しい猫、イジーとブーブーがオフィスに来てから状況が変わり、 目もよく見えなくなってきたので、今年の2月くらいから家で過ごしていました。 Things around her had changed after the new cats, Izzy and Boo-boo came to the office. Plus, she could not see well any more so she moved to our house in February this year. その時は手に怪我をしていたし、もう駄目かと思いましたが、8カ月も頑張ってくれました。 At that time, she got injured her front leg, so we thought that would be it, but she stayed with us for eight months after that. 家では、夜や朝によく「ミャーミャー」と鳴いていたので、うるさいな〜と 思ったこともありましたが、今となっては静か過ぎて寂しいです。（−−；） She meowed often during the night or in the morning at home, so I thought she was little noisy sometimes, but now it is too quiet and I miss her meowing. Molly was the first cat for me. モリーからいろいろなことを教わりました。（＾＾） She taught me many things about cats. 今までたくさんの思い出をありがとう！（＊＾＾＊） Thank you so much for the many good memories! いつか天国で会おうね、モリー！ I will see you in heaven someday, Molly! モリー、享年15歳（推定） Molly was 15 years old. みなさん、こんにちは！（＾＾） Hi, everyone! お久しぶりです！（＾＾） 最近は忙しくてみなさんの所に遊びに行けなくてごめんなさい。（−−；） It's been a long time! I've been busy so I haven't visited your blogs for a long time... I will visit you when I have time for sure! 今のニューヨークの気温は５℃。土日はもっと気温があがりそうです！嬉しい！（＊＾＾＊） It is now 5 degrees C in New York. It is going to be much warmer on this weekend! Yeah! 今日はイジーのビデオを紹介します！（＾＾） I will show you Izzy's video today! もうすっかり慣れた２にゃんたち。最近はイジーが私の側に、ブーブーがロッドの側にいます。 The two cats have naturalized already. Izzy likes to be with me and Boo-boo likes to be around Rod. Izzy is very interested in my hair band in my pouch when I am reapplying makeup. 面白いでしょう？！（＾＾） でも、しばらく遊ぶと飽きるようですが。。。（＾＾；） It is interesting isn't it?! However, she plays with it for a while and gets tired of it quickly... ちなみにブーブーは全然興味を示しません。（＾＾） For your information, Boo-boo is not interested in it at all. それでは、みなさん良い週末を〜〜〜！！（＊＾＾＊） All right, have a wonderful weekend, everyone!! |

みなさん、こんにちは！（＾＾） Hi, everyone! 今の気温はマイナス１℃。そんなに寒くはないですが、大きなスノーストームが 近づいてきているので、今夜からまた雪になりそうです。（−−；） It is -1 degrees C now. It is not too cold but a big snowstorm is coming so it is going to snow again tonight. さて、久しぶりに今日はモリーの記事です。（＾＾） Now then, today's article is about Molly after a long time. 今までずーとお店のオフィスで生活していたモリーですが、最近は歳を取って 目があまりよく見えません。（−−；） Molly has been living in the office of the shop up until now but she cannot see well anymore because of the old age. それに加えて、新しい２にゃんたちが来たことで生活が変わったようなんです。。。 Plus, her life has been changed since the new cats came here... １ヶ月くらい前に朝お店に来てみると、なんと塀を乗り越えてオフィスの外の ２ワン用のベッドに居たのです。 We came to the shop in the morning about one month ago, we found Molly in the doggie's bed by climbing over the fence. 写真は２ワンが居ますが、夜はマーフィーがお店に居るのでマーフィーと一緒に 寝たかったの？！って思っていました。（＾＾；） In the photo, there are two dogs but only Murphy stays here at night so we thought Molly wanted to sleep with Murphy?! 上手く歩けなくなってしまいました。（−−；） We saw that few times and one day Molly got injured her feet when she was climbing the fence resulted in she could not walk well. そんなに頑張ってオフィスの外に出ようとするなんて。。。 Molly who cannot even climb up on our laps anymore and she trys to get out of the office so bad?! 高齢で目が良く見えないモリーに何かするのかなって。。。（−−；） Then, Rod and I figured it out. Izzy and Boo-boo are used to be in the office lately and they may do something to Molly... 誰にも邪魔されないので足も治りやすいと思って。 After that, we took Molly home. Our house is always warm and no one would bother her so that her injury would get cured soon. モリーの足はすぐに元通りになりました！（＊＾＾＊） Since the house was warm and we arranged things accessible for Molly so her feet got fixed up shortly! マイロもモリーは友達だと思っているようで、ロッドと一緒にリクライナーに居る時も モリーと一緒でも大丈夫になりました。（＾＾） Milo now thinks Molly is a friend so he can share the recliner with Molly when he is with Rod. こんなに仲良くなってくれて、私たちは本当に嬉しいです。（＊＾＾＊） We are so happy that Milo and Molly get along very well. でも、一つ問題が。。。（−−；） However, threre is one problem... 夜みんなが寝静まると、モリーは「ミャー、ミャー！」と大きな声で鳴き始めるのです。（＞＜） When everyone is fast asleep, Molly starts to go "Meow, meow!" with a loud voice. 寂しいのか、よく見えなくて行きたい所になかなか行けないからなのか。。。 We don't know if she feels lonely or she gets frustrated because she cannot see well and hard to get where she wants... 家の周りはとても静かだし、夜中にいきなり「ミャー、ミャー」言われると びっくりしてしまいます。（−−；） Around the house is very quiet and we are very surprised to hear "Meow, meow" in the middle of the night suddenly. 私が急いでなだめに行く時は、何故かいつもマイロも一緒に行きます。（＾＾） When I comfort her in a rush, Milo always comes with me. 普通は一晩に一度くらいなのですが、昨日は何度も起こされました。。。（−−；） It happens once a night usually but we had to get up many times last night... オフィスに居た時よりもリラックスしているし、安心しているようなのですが、何故なんだろう？？？ She seems more relaxed than she used to be in the office and feel relieved now...Why??? なんとか鳴かないようにしてね〜、モリー！！（＾＾；） Please don't meow, Molly!! と言うことで、モリーは引退して老猫ホーム（家）で生活しています。（＊＾＾＊）
Thus, Molly is now retired and and lives in our retirement home. |

みなさん、こんにちは！（＾＾） Hi, everyone! 今の気温は−１℃。昨日は一日中−４℃だったので、昨日よりは暖かくなりました。（＾＾；） It is now −1 degrees C. It was −4 degrees C yesterday so it warmed up a little. 今日はイジーとダッチス（ニックネームはブーブー）のその後の報告です！(=^･^=) I will update about Izzy and Dutches (her nickname is Boo-boo) today! It's been two months since the two cats came here. ２にゃんがやってきた時の記事はこちら、２日後の記事はこちら、半月後の記事はこちらです。 The article of the arrival of the two cats is here, the article two days later is here, the article after half month is here. Until around 2 PM, the two dogs spend time outside of the office like this so that the two cats act freely. 私は結婚するまで猫を飼ったことがなかったので、モリーが最初の猫ちゃん。 I never had any cats until I got married so Molly is the first cat for me. モリーは昔野良猫で保護施設に居たのをロッドが飼うことにして、もう１０年くらい飼っています。 Molly used to be a stray cat and Rod adopted her from a shelter and he's been having her about ten years. Since I had no idea about cats, when I moved my face closer to Molly, she scratched under my eye. However, Izzy and Boo-boo are very different from Molly as the previous owner raised the cats since they were five months old! 顔を近づけてもキスして来そうなくらいに近づいてくるし、私が２にゃんの顔にキスしても全然平気！（＠＠） When I move my face closer the cats, they get much closer to me like they want to kiss me and I can actually kiss the cats! やっぱり、育ち方によって随分違うんだな〜とつくづく思いました。 All in all, how cats are raised makes it very different. The two cats are getting used to the environment, we are able to see their relaxed poses. 私の机の上にもよくやってきます。こちらはブーブー。大きいでしょう？！（＠＠） They come to be on my desk. Here is Boo-boo. She is big, isn't she?! ブーブーは私の膝の上で寝るのも大好き。私の手があるのに、ブーブーの頭が大きくて手が見えません。。 Boo-boo likes to sleep on my lap. Boo-boo's head is so big that you cannot see my hand in the picture! ロッドの机の上も大好きですよ。（＾＾） They both like to be on Rod's desk as well. ブーブーは私のことが好きで、イジーはロッドのことが好きみたいです。（＊＾＾＊） It looks like Boo-boo likes me and Izzy likes Rod. ２時以降に柵を外して２ワンと３にゃん（モリーもいますよ！＾＾）を一緒にしても、以前よりは２ワンも 随分吠えなくなったし、イジーとブーブーも２ワンが攻撃してこないことが分かったようです。 We remove the fence after 2 PM so the two dogs and the three cats (2 cats and Molly!) are all in the office, but the dogs don't bark much like used to and Izzy and Boo-boo figured out that the two dogs would not attack them. そして、この写真を見て下さい！（＊＾＾＊） Then, look at this picture! みんなで仲良くオフィスの中で寝てるでしょう！！（＾＾） モリーは私の足元のヒーターの前に居たと思います。 They are all together in the office sleeping!! I think Molly was in front of a heater around my feet. 待ちきれなくてこんなことに！（＠＠） Around 6 PM, we give dinner to the cats so the dogs have to leave the office but sometimes the cats cannot wait and something happens like this! マイロは臆病なので私の膝の上にいますが、かなり怖がっています。（＾＾；） Milo is wimpy so he is so scared of the cat even he is on my lap. そして、新しいイジーのお気に入りスポットは私の後ろ。 Then, Izzy's new favorite spot is behind me. なので、最近は私の後ろにイジー、膝にはブーブーや２ワン。。。まさに動物園状態です！（＾＾；） So, I sometimes have Izzy behind me, Boo-boo or the dogs on my lap... It is like living in a zoo! ちなみに、モリーは２ワンとも２にゃんとも上手く行っていますが、モリーの行く手を誰かが邪魔をすると 威嚇してます。（＾＾；） For your information, Molly gets along pretty well with the dogs and the cats but once someone comes in her way, she will hiss at it. これは２にゃんのご飯を狙っているモリー。 In this photo, Molly is trying to steal the cat food. モリーは高齢になってきて、以前よりもよく目が見えないようで、いろんな物にぶつかりそうになりながら 歩いています。。。 Molly is getting old and she cannot see things well anymore so she always bumps into something when she walks. でも、その度に威嚇するので、誰もモリーを止められません！（＾＾） However everytime she does, she hisses at it so no one can stop Molly! Molly is still the boss for sure. Molly, stay healthy and live long! |

みなさん、こんにちは！（＾＾） Hi, everyone! 昨日はワールドシリーズの第一戦だったのに、ヤンキースは負けてしまいました。（−−；） The first game of the World Series was played yesterday but Yankees lost it... やっぱり、ピッチャーが素晴らしいとなかなか打ち破れないですね〜。。。 If a pitcher does a very good job, it is certainly hard to break through... でも、まだまだこれから！ ヤンキース、頑張れ！！（＊＾＾＊） However, it is just the begining! Go, Yankees!! １２日にイジーとダッチスがお店に来てから、もう半月が経ちました。 It's been half a month since Izzy and Dutches came to the shop on the 12th. 今も２ワンが少し怖いようですが、段々とオフィスにいることにも慣れてきたようです。（＾＾） They are still little afraid of the two dogs but I think they are getting to used to be in the office. They still stay under the shelf but sometimes Izzy goes to inside of the shelf! She looks like a doll! マイロはあまり２にゃんに近づかないのですが、マーフィーはお友達になりたいのか、よく棚の下に行きます。 Milo does not go near the cats but Murphy may want to be a friend of them and goes near the cats. The cats were just afraid of the dogs before, but they started to growl at Murphy at some point. 夜は遊べるように、オフィスのドアを開けてフェンスだけにしていたので、マーフィーは入れずに ２にゃんはオフィスの外に出れるようにしていました。 We opened the office door with the fence down at night so that Murphy could not go in but the cats could play or walk outside of the office. でも、私はある日なんだかショールームが臭いことに気付きました。。。（−−；） However, one day I noticed that the showroom was stinky... The odor was coming from the Camaro which Rod's been converting to a race car! We had known that Izzy walked around the Camaro because we saw a lot of paw marks on the car the day before. ダッチスはあんまり動かない猫ちゃんなので、アクティブなイジーに違いない！ Dutches does not move much so it must have been Izzy! なんと、新しいシートの上にう○ちが！！！（＞＜） 開いていた窓から侵入したようです。。。 We found poop on the new car seat!!! The windows were open so she went into inside the car... 私は思わず笑ってしまいましたが、ロッドはショックのようでした。（＾＾；） I laughed at it but Rod was in shock. それ以来、オフィスのドアを閉めて帰っています。 Since then, we close the office door when we leave. ２４日には元の飼い主さんの家族が遊びに来てくれました！（＾＾） On the 24th, the former owner's family visited the shop! ２にゃんはきっと嬉しかったんだと思いますが、棚の下に隠れたまま。。。（＾＾；） The two cats must have been happy about it but they remained hiding under the shelf... The two cats basically like to hide. トイレを使ったりするように！！（＠＠） However, they might have realized the situation by the former family's visit, Dutched started to eat or use cat litter even the dogs were in the office on the next day!! その２日後には、２ワンをオフィスから出してフェンスで仕切ると２にゃんとも出てきました！（＾＾） Two days later, we put the doggies outside of the office and fenced down, the cats came out from the shelf! この時に、イジー（三毛猫）は私に顔や体をくっ付けてきたのです！（＠＠） At that moment, Izzy (calico) put her scent on me! The action of cats means the cat shows love to the person or demands food. どちらか分からないけど＾＾；、でもとても嬉しかったです！（＾＾） Eigher way, I was very happy about it! Then, I took this photo yesterday. ２にゃん共、食欲は旺盛です！（＾＾；） Both cats have a big appetite! やっぱり、このまま私たちが飼うことになりました。 As I expected, we will keep the cats. マイロとマーフィーの２ワンが５歳で兄弟。イジーとダッチスの２にゃんも５歳で姉妹！！！ The dogs, Milo and Murphy are brothers and 5 years old. The cats, Izzy and Dutches are sisters and 5 years old! これは偶然なのでしょうか？！（＠＠） Is this a coincidence?! きっと、２ワンのことを気にもせずに歩き回るイジーとダッチスが、いつか見られると思います！（＾＾）
