みなさん、こんにちは！お元気ですか？（＾＾） Hi, everyone! How are you doing? 今日のニューヨークの気温は２８℃。 Today's temperature in NY is 28 degrees C. でも、明日から気温が下がりそうなので、最後の暑い日になりそうです。（＾＾；） However, the temperature is going to drop tomorrow, so today will be the last hot day. 日本はどうですか？少し涼しくなってるといいけど。。。 How about Japan? I hope it is getting cooler there. 今夏は気温が高い日が多く、バイクに乗っていても熱風が顔にあたる感じなので、 バイクライドに行けませんでした。（−−；） There have been a lot of hot days in this summer and it would feel like hot air blowing on a face on the bike so we could not go for a bike ride. でも、８月の終り頃から何度か友達と行ってきたので、今回はその時の写真を紹介します。（＾＾） However, we've gone for a bike ride couple times with our friends since the end of August, so I will show you some pictures from it. If you would like to feel riding on a bike, please check the previous article. この日は、お昼にTexas Tacoでタコスを食べました。 On the day, we had some tacos at Texas Taco. このお店は見ての通り、すっごく不思議なお店で、同じ椅子やパラソルが無いんです。 This restaurant is very unique and there are no same chairs or parasols as you see. カラフルでいろいろな物があって、見ているだけで楽しくなっちゃいます！（＊＾＾＊） There are many things in various colors, so you can enjoy just looking at them! お店の中もとても個性的で、魔女の館みたいなんです。（＾＾；） The inside of the restaurant is also very unique and looks like a witch's house. お店の中は撮影禁止だったので、写真は取れませんでした。（−−；） I could not take any picutures inside of it because photography was prohibited. 先週末のバイクライドでは、友達の義理母の別荘が途中にあったので寄ってみました。 At the last week's bike ride, we stopped by at our friend's mother-in-law's vacation house since it was on the way. 家の前には大きな湖が広がっています。 The big lake opens in front of the house. この小屋の中に釣り道具があり、ロッドや友達は湖での釣りを暫く楽しんでいました。（＾＾） There were some fishing tackles in the shed, so Rod and our friends enjoyed fishing at the lake for a while. とっても美しい景色で、私は景色に見とれていました。 The scenery was so beautiful that I admired the view. バイクで飛ばして（私は運転してませんが＾＾；）風を切っている時も気持ちが良いのですが、 こうやって面白いお店に行ったり、綺麗な景色を眺めたりするのも楽しいです！（＊＾＾＊） It feels good to be on a bike when we fly down the road (I don't drive though) and feel the wind,but going to an interesting restaurant or viewing beautiful scenery is also fun! 寒くならないうちに、またバイクライドに行きたい私です。（＊＾＾＊） I would love to go for a bike ride before it gets real cold. いろいろな写真が溜まっているので、時間のある時に徐々に紹介していきますね！ I have many photos piling up, so I will show you little by little when I have time. |

みなさん、こんにちは！（＾＾） Hi, everyone! 昨日の日曜日はとっても良く晴れたニューヨーク！ Yesterday was a beautiful Sunday in New York! 夏を満喫しようとバイクライドに出かけました！（＾＾） So we went for a bike ride to fully enjoy the summer! 向かったのは、キャンドルレイク。 We were headed to Candle lake. ランチはこの湖沿いのレストランで。 We had lunch at this restaurant along the lake. このレストランはボートで直接来れるようになっているのです。 You can access this restaurant by a boat directly. 気温３１℃とニューヨークにしては暑かったので、バイカーよりもボート遊びをしている人の方が多かったです。 Since it was 31 degrees C so it was very hot for New York, there were more people boating than bikers. これはロッドの頼んだゴルゴンゾーラサラダ。写真がボケてて、ごめんなさい！（＞＜） This is Gorgonzola salad that Rod ordered. I am sorry that the photo is blurry. 私が頼んだケイジャン・チキンサンドイッチ。 Here is Cajun Chicken sandwich that I ordered. ケイジャンとはルイジアナ州に住むアケイディアン（フランス系カナディアン）移民の子孫のこと。 Cajun means descendants of Acadian (French Canadian)immigrants' who live in Louisiana. Cajun cooking is made by Cajun people and characterized by spiciness. ボリュームたっぷりでとっても美味しかったですよ！（＾＾） It was hearty and very good! ロッドのメインはツナロールで、ツナサラダをトルティーヤで巻いた物でしたが、写真を撮り忘れました。（＾＾；） Rod's main course was tuna roll which is tuna salad rolled with tortilla but I forgot to take a picture. 暑かったので、約１１０マイル（約１７７キロ）を走ってお店に戻りました。 It was hot so we drove about 110 miles (about 177 km) and came back to the shop. そして、プールへジャンプイン！！（＾＾） Then, we jumped into the pool!! マイロとマーフィーも暑そうだったのでプールへ！ Milo and Murphy looked hot too so we took them into the pool! でも、無理に泳がせずにラフトに乗せて遊びました。 However, we didn't force them to swim and played a raft with them. ちょっと恥ずかしい私の水着ショット！（＊＾＾＊） I am little embarrassed about my bathing suit shots! ２ワンとも始めはちょっと怖がっていましたが、以前よりは大丈夫そうでした。（＾＾；） The two doggies seemed little afraid at first but they were much better than before. Thus, we really enjoyed the summer yesterday after a long time! |

みなさん、こんにちは！（＾＾） Hi, everyone! 今日は久しぶりに早起きをして、車で４５分くらいの所にあるマーカス・デイリーに行って来ました！ Today, We got up early after so long and went to Marcus Dairy that 45 minutes away by car! ここにはミルクを加工して卸す会社があるのですが、毎週日曜日にバイカー達が集まる場所でもあるのです。 There is a company whcih process and distribute milk here but it is also a hangout for bikers on Sundays. 朝から始まって１２時くらいにはそれぞれツーリングに出発するので、お昼くらいには終わるんですよ。 It starts in the morning and will be over by noon because everyone goes somewhere for a ride. 私たちは日曜日に朝寝坊していたので、全然ここに来ていませんでした。（＾＾；） We always got up late on Sundays so we didn't go there for a long time. 今回はトライクで行きました。後ろにはフェラーリが止まっています！カッコいい！（＾＾） We went there by the trike. Behind the trike, a Ferrari parked there! It is so cool! 結構たくさんのバイクが来ていましたが、昔はもっと多くのバイクが集まったそうです。 A lots of motorcycles came there but there used to be much more bikes gathered there. ロッドの作ったトライクを見たことが無い人がほとんどだったので、ロッドは質問攻めにあってました。（＾＾） Most of the people there never saw Rod's trike, so Rod was pestered with questions. あらゆる種類のバイクがあったのですが、ほとんど写真は撮りませんでした。（＾＾；） There were all kinds of bikes there but I didn't take much photos. The only photo I took among the bikes was this Honda sidecar. 最近はホンダ、ヤマハ、カワサキなどの日本のバイクも大きいものがありますね。（＾＾） Lately, Japanese bikes such as Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki have bigger bikes. 早起きしてちょっと眠かったけど、とても楽しい時間を過ごしました！

みなさん、こんにちは！ Hi, everyone! 今日は、先週の日曜日に行ったバイクライドの記事です！ Today, I am writing about the bikeride we went last Sunday! 今回もまた、ロッドの友達のケビンも一緒でしたよ！（＾＾） Also this time, Rod's friend, Kevin was with us! お店から１時間半程北上して、立ち寄ったのがこのアイスクリームのお店。 We drove the motorcycles for one hour and half to north and dropped by this ice cream shop. １９３４年からアイスクリームを売っている有名なお店だそうです！ This is a famous shop which has been selling ice cream since 1934! 私はチョコレートアイスクリームにチョコレートディップ！！美味しかったです！（＾＾） I ordered chocolate-dipped chocolete ice cream! That was so good! その後はずーとバイクで走り続けました。景色は木がいっぱいでこんな感じです！ After that, we drove the motorcycles for a long time. There were lots of trees so the scenery was like this! ニューヨーク州は木やたくさんの自然があるんですよ〜！今度、バイクの上でビデオを撮りたいと思ってます。 Lot of trees and nature still remain in New York! I would like to shoot a video while I am riding on the bike nest time! そして、４時頃になってお昼を食べる事に！もうお腹がペコペコでした！ Then, we decided to have lunch around 4 PM. I was starving! 私たちが行ったのが、中華のビュッフェレストラン！！（前日に中華でしたが。。。＾＾；） We went to a Chinese buffet restaurant! (we had Chinese dinner the day before...) お腹が空いていて、ものすごく食べたので写真が載りきれません！（＞＜） I ate a lot food there because I was so hungry and I couldn't put all the photos on my blog! なので、明日そのビュッフェレストランの記事を載せますね！ごめんなさい！（＾＾；） Thus, I will upload an article of the buffet restaurant tomorrow! Sorry about that! では、また明日〜〜〜！（＾＾）

みなさん、こんにちは！ Hi, everyone! 今日は、先週の日曜日に行ったバイクライドの記事です！ Today, I will write about a bike ride we went last Sunday! この日はロッドの友達のケビンも一緒でしたよ！ We were with Rod's friend, Kevin on the day! 私たちはロッドのお店から北へ向かって１時間程走り、お腹が空いたのでOUTBACKステーキハウスへ。 We drove to north from Rod's shop for an hour and went to OUTBACK steakhouse because we were hungry. お店の近くのOUTBACKはいつもすごく混んでいるのですが、ここなら大丈夫でしょう！（＾＾） The OUTBACK steakhouse near the shop is always crowded but we thought this one should be OK! まずは、パンとバター。パンはパンパニコルみたいです。もう半分になってます。（＾＾；） At first, here is a bread and butter. I think the bread was pumpernickel.It was in half already. じゃ〜ん！やっぱりここに来たら、これを頼まないとね〜！ブルーミンオニオンです！ Tah-dah! You have to order this when you come here! This is Bloomin' Onion! そして、クラムチャウダー。とっても美味しかった！（＾＾） And, this is clam showder. It was very tasty! 私のメインはクラブケーキ。これはカニ肉にパン粉や玉ねぎなどを混ぜて揚げたもので、こちらではよくあります。 My main was crab cake. It is a deep-fried mixture of crab meat, bread crumbs and onions, and it is common here. 満腹になった私たち。その後、２時間くらい走って小さいけど素敵な町に到着！ We were so full! Then, we drove the motorcycles about two hours and got to a lovely little town! この可愛い感じの金物屋さんでウインドウショッピング！（＾＾） We went windowshopping at this cute hardware store! そして、この赤いパラソルの下でコーヒーを飲んで帰ってきました。 Then, we had some coffee under the red parasol and went back to the shop. バイクライドも楽しかったけど、食事やウインドウショッピングも十分に楽しんだ私たちでした！（＾＾）
