オタバロ １０月２４日／Otavalo

イバラを離れそこから２５ｋｍほどの町オタバロに来ています。
ジョーダンは西のジャングルへ、マリアはキトに彼氏を迎えに　とお別れです。

オタバロは３万人ほどの小さな町
インディオが多く暮らす町で毎週土曜日に開かれるマーケットが有名です。
今日も十分な位の店は出てるんですが、いったい土曜日がどれほどのものか？

また報告します。

ここで売ってるものとにかく可愛くて全部買って帰りたいってのが本音です。
結構コロンビアで売ってるものに酷似してるんで
もしかしたらコロンビアのはエクアドルから来てるのかも知れません。
少なくともここのインディオは全部この辺で作られてるって言い張ってます。


そしてマーケットともうひとつの目的は
ここでスペイン語のクラスを取ることです。
キトはここより高いだろうし、寒いし、騒々しいと思われるんで
一歩手前のここで　一日４時間（＄５／時間）基礎を覚えようか・・。

明日より開始です。どうなることやら・・


















Today, we ( jordan, maria, I ) left for different destinations.
Jordan to the west, Maria to Quito, and
I came to Otavalo, just 45 minutos down from Ibarra, and 2 hours to Quito.

Small town with population 31000, is famous for
giant Saturday market by Ecuadorian indigenous people.
I will wait for few days to see it.
But everyday, there is enough market opened. And they say its cheaper weekday.
There are so many cute things here.
I want to buy them all, Indigenous dresses, textiles, art crafts...
Some of them I saw in Colombia. I guess they were from here.
At least Indigenous people says they are from Ecador.

And the other purpose here is to study Spanish.
Ive felt the limit to study by myself.
I need basics and talking practice.
Here its cheaper to stay and quiter than Quito.
From tomorrow, 4 hours a day private lesson for about 2 weeks. $5/hour.

I ll see how it goes. It will be fun !!
