ラタクンガで一泊してやっと目標の地、キロトアにやってきました（１３日）。
ロンプラではエクアドルのベスト・トラックの１つとして取り上げられてるので期待大です。
とは言え
ここにキロトア湖というクレーター湖があるという事、
その近くにホテルがあるという事しか情報もなく
バスがキロトアに近づくにつれ
辺りは霧、というか雲に包まれまったく見えない状況。
こんなんじゃどこが湖でどこがホテルかなんて分からんじゃん・・と超不安に。
すでに標高３８００ｍ超なのでまぁ仕方なし。
ここは毎午後になると雨は降らずとも雲の中に入ってしまうようです。
夜もかなり冷えます・が・さすが赤道直下なだけあって０度を下回ることはなさそう。
１４日、この日はキロトア湖一周ルートではなく
マイナーな近くのキャニオン（名前は後日・・）へトレッキング。
地元の人のみぞ知る小道を通るのでガイドが必要。
ホテルの娘さんドーラ、大学で観光学を勉強中でガイドを目指してるらしいのですが
大学が休みでキロトアに帰って実家の手伝いをしてたので彼女に頼みました。（１５＄／日）
帰りは湖のリムを経由して帰ったのですが、やはり午後は湖は雲の中。。

After one night stay(12th) at Latacunga, finally visited Quilotoa on 13th.
Said to be best off-the beaten track of Ecuador.
Yet there were no information on my guidebook,
just says there would be cretor lake, and few hostels there.
As the bus got, Quilotoa was all covered by clouds.
Could nearly see around myself.
Later I learned that this happens every day here.
Considering that Quilotoa locates above 3800m, understandable.
It gets very cold at night, but because of latitude, still above 0 degree,
On 14th,it was beautiful morning.
Skiped the whole round treck of Laguna (4-6hours),
but visited cannyon near Quilotoa and some trek
on Laguna with the girl from the hotel.(it also took 5 hours)
I asked to be a guide since she is studying tourism to be a nature guide.
This time, she was back to Quilotoa to help her family
while school is closed for vacation.
Well how beautiful Quilota was, I just show pics from there.
