ペルー遺跡探検４ / ウィルカワイン遺跡1

明日より三泊四日で、ペルーで最も有名なトレックのひとつ
ブランカ山脈のサンタクルス トレックに向かうので
滞在地ワラス (HUARAZ) から10kmほどの山あいにあるウィルカワインの遺跡へ
膝の様子見がてらトレッキングしてきました 。

ロンプラにも掲載されて無いマイナー遺跡で
どんな遺跡があるのかも何も分からないままに地元民の勧めで向かったのですが

700ACから1100AC頃にペルーで栄えたワリ文明に属する遺跡が２つありました。
これまでの海岸沿いの文明とは大きく異なり石で建造された遺跡です。
今回の写真はその内の一つ

ICHIC WILLKAWAN 当時のエリートのお墓らしいです。

まだまだ公開に向けて準備中、、みたいな感じで入り口なんかを建設中。
一応入れますがおっちゃんたちが色々作業してます。
逆にまだタダなのでうれしいかも。
写真のおじいさんは78歳で、作業の合間を縫って発掘もしてます。
驚くべきことにこの穴を二日で掘ったとか、、強者です。

要所々々見つけてたので特に気にしてなかったんですが

ペルーに入ってからどうしても見つけられず

ペルー遺跡探検3 /Chan Chan/Trujillo, Peru

トルヒーヨの遺跡の中で特に有名なチャン チャン

13世紀頃に栄えた町がここに有ります。

泥ブロックで建てられたものとしては
当時、世界最大を誇り6万人が暮らしたそうな

泥ブロック(アドビブリック)ってのは侮れない位に硬く
郊外では今でも家を建てるのに使われてる自家製建材です。

でもやはり数百年の風雨には負け
城壁などの大きなものを残しては泥の塊となりつつあります。

特に重要な催しが行われていた１区画が、と言ってもかなり広大すが
大分復元され公開されています。

でもやはりHuaca del Sol and Luna には負けますが
訪れる価値は有ります。

体温が高いから毛が無いらしいです。

Besides Huaca del Sol and Luna,
Chan Chan is also one of the important ruin around Trujillo.

Built around AD1300, convering 28sqKM.
Said that once it was a largest adobe (mud brick) city in the world.

But now severely dameged by floods and rainfalls.
Most of walls are about to collopse.

But at one area, reconstruction had taken place and
show us some image of what once looked like.
Around here, Peruvian hairless dogs can be seen.

If you dont have time here, recommend to visit Huaca del Sol y Luna first.
Thats a lot more interesting.

ペルー遺跡探検2 Huaca del Sol y Luna (11/30)

トルヒーヨ近郊のいくつかの遺跡の中でも多分一番興味深い遺跡。
1世紀から6世紀にかけてモチェ文明によって築かれた寺院です。
先日訪れたシパンの遺跡も同じくモチェ文明の一部。

Huaca del Luna(月のお寺)

非常におもしろい。
少なくとも5世代によって築かれた建造物。
各世代は前の世代を全てブロックで覆い隠して
その上に新しい寺院を建てていく
だから世代を重ねる事に大きく高くなっていき(手書き図参照)
まさにピラミッドの形状をしています。

旧世代の建造物が新しい世代によって封印されてきた結果
各時代の彫刻、壁画が当時の色彩を今でもはっきりと残してくれています。

ここは入場料にガイド料が含まれてるので
みっちりガイドが英語で教えてくれ楽しめます。
大規模な発掘が今も続けられているので来年が見ごろかも知れません。


Huaca del Sol(太陽のお寺)

ここはこの時代の建造物としては一番大きなものらしいですが
資金不足で発掘は手付かずのまま。
立ち入りが出来ないのが残念です。
近くまでは行けるので見てみるとまさに巨大!
これをたかが30cm四方程度の泥のブロックで作るとは凄い。


バスで30分程のところですが
そのバスを発見するのが至難の技ですが行く価値大。



One of the interesting ruins around Trujillo/Peru.
Built for centuries around 100 AC to 600 AC by Moche culture.
Sipan which I visited few day ago was also part of this culture.

Huaca del Luna(temple of moon)
is very interesting site.
This piramid was bilt over at least 5 generations.
Each generation totally covered the temple which was built before by bricks and built new temple above.
So each time, this temple got bigger and bigger, and became piramid figure.

Which means old structures, detailed art works on the walls are well preserved inside.
And also because this temple was all covered by sands for centuries,
amazingly we can still see many origenal colores from more than 15 hundreds years ago.

Huaca del Sol (temple of sun)
is the most largest single structure in Peru around this era.
But because of lack of funds, yet to be observed, closed to tourist and also to archaelogists.
Last 2 pictures are the photo of del Sol. Its massive, and yet built by adobe bricks (mud bricks)

トルヒーヨの雰囲気 / Atomsphere of Trujillo/Peru

ペルーの主要都市の一つ
北部あたりでは首都のリマに次いでの大きな都市

ですが

エスパーニャと呼ばれる通りに囲まれた
その中心街はコロニアル時代の建物が多く残され
大きな都市であることを忘れさせるほどに静かな街

これまでもコロニアル調の町並みは飽きるほどに見て来た訳ですが
ここに来てそれぞれ違った
スタイルを持っていた事に気付きました。

特にペルーに入ってからは温かい日差しと風にマッチした
青や黄色を中心に彩られたやさしい壁、
豪華に作り込まれた巨大な扉やバルコニー、
そしてゆとりをもった大きな通り、
ゆったり、のんびり感が強く漂う街並みで
トルヒーヨはこれまでとの違いが特に際立ってます。

こんな空気、好きですが
明日には夜行バスで9時間の道のりを経て
アンデスの ワラスへ向かいます。



One of the major cities (after the capital Lima)of northern coastal Peru.
But the streets around the central area are well preserved to be
Colonial town from hundreds of years ago.

Ive seen many colonial towns and realized now that
each area has different style in some way.

With creamy colored walls, mainly yellow and blue.
This color matches with sunny coastal sky and wind.
Gorgeously ditailed entrances, windows, wooden balconies.
Wide streets, some streets are kept car free.
Things never rush, at least around the central.(ok..taxi rush)

I love this atompshere here.
And if I want busy energetic street,
I can just go out of central, near market area.
There everything keep moving ever, streets are kept with minibuses
which I can never figure out where they are heading.

Well this tranquilo days will be over tomorrow (if I have guts)
