日曜日に仕事が2:30時ごろ終わりましたので、異人館を見る時間が出来て嬉しかった！外国人はあまりこういう建物で興奮しないと思いますが、何故か私はとても感動しました。懐かしいねと思って、もし日本でお金持ちになったら、こういう家に住みたいなと思いました。K??be's number-one attraction is the Ijinkan or Barbarian Houses. These are 19th-century residences of Kobe's foreign traders, clustered in the Kitano area. Europeans who grew up in similar scenery may find them less fascinating but I did enjoy visiting them.
The German House
The first house I visited was the
Weathercock House in which the trader G.Thomas lived in. The house was built in 1909 and has a German traditional style while reflecting the Art Nouveau movement of the late 19th and early 20th century. This house evokes a medi eval castle theme and is very interesting to visit. この館はかつて神戸に住んでいたドイツ人貿易商ゴッドフリード・トーマス氏が自邸として１９０９年に建てた建物です。
Can you notice the weathercock on the spire on top of the roof? The metal rooster does more than indicate the wind direction, it also wards off evil spirits, and promotes Christian doctrine with its advocation of caution and respect of nature. In the picture I am holding up a passport that I bought for 1300 yen in order to visit 3 houses (Holland, Denmark, Austria). I also had to buy extra tickets for 2 other houses, German and American for 500 yen. Below is the interior of this house.
The American House

Moegi House is a light green house built in 1903 as home for Mr.Hunter Sharp, a former US Consul General.大きな楠（クスの木）に囲まれた、１９０３年にアメリカ総領事ハンター・シャープ氏の邸宅として建設されました。
普通のマンションですがとても綺麗ですね。This is just a normal building of flats but it's so beautiful.
The Holland House
This house belonged to the former consul of Holland. 旧オランダ総領事邸。 1987年に”香りの家オランダ館”として公開されました。
The Denmark House
On the first floor is the Viking Ships exhibit, on the 2nd floor the Writing Room of Hans Christian Andersen and there is a mermaid sculpture in the gardern, probably the most representative things Denmark has to offer. 多分、デンマークについてよく知られているものは：
バイキング（８世紀末から１１世紀にかけての北欧の歴史を知る上で欠くことのできないバイキング）
マーメイド（あまりにも有名なの「人魚姫」像は1913年、エドヴァー・エリクセンによって作られましたと
ハリス・クリスチャン・アンデルセン（1805年に生まれ）「人魚姫」や「みにくいアヒルの子」など、数々の名作を生んだ彼をしのぶ展示品のかずかず。
The Austrian House
The Viennese are famous for enjoying life. Here you can get a sense of the daily life of Mozart and experience in the garden the
strongest beer in the world, along with famous delicious chokolate cakes.
