Three Herbs That Sweeten Your Breath

Three Herbs That Sweeten Your Breath

Can¡Çt stand the sting of mouthwash, but want sweeter breath? Set down the Scope, and pick up a pinch of one of these herbs instead:

parsley, basil, or cilantro.

They all contain the green plant pigment chlorophyll, which is a powerful breath freshener, writes James Duke - a PhD and botanist - in his book, The Green Pharmacy Herbal Handbook.

More Fresheners for Your Mouth

In addition to parsley, basil, and cilantro, Duke recommends these easy-to-find breath fresheners:

Dill: It¡Çs also rich in chlorophyll. Chew the seeds, or make dill tea by adding the leaves or mashed seeds to boiling water.

Cardamom: It contains cineole, a potent antiseptic that kills bad-breath bacteria. You can chew the seeds and then spit them out.

Anise: The seeds of this licorice-flavored herb have been used for thousands of years to freshen breath. Boil the seeds in a cup of water. Strain, and then drink or use as a mouthwash.

Peppermint tea, a strong antiseptic, fights halitosis. Learn how peppermint perks up your brain, too.

Can you place a value on having healthy teeth?

Prevent, Halt and Remineralize Tooth Decay Nutritionally without Dental Surgery or Fluoride.

Only one book teaches you the secrets of tooth decay so you can avoid the dental drill!

"Learn how to Heal and Prevent Cavities with Nutrition" by Ramiel Nagel

Part 1, why the current theory of tooth decay is inaccurate. Here you will learn about the holes in the current theory of tooth decay, and how dental treatments do not treat the cause of tooth decay, but rather treat the symptoms.

http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=5HWms5CvHZk

Part 2, anthropological research of Weston Price. A review of some anthropological evidence documented by Weston Price, about how our teeth decay due to improper nutrition.

http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=4qoP9xCJ5DU

Part 3, a review of the tooth decay preventing and healing diet. Some of the foods you need to eat to prevent, halt and remineralize cavities.

I am inclined not to eat meat and animal products as he recommends. On the other hand I do recommend lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, juiced or not, but remember to cleanse your mouth with water because they are acidic in your mouth.

Tooth Pain Home Remedy Suggestions

Tooth Pain Home Remedy Suggestions

Tooth pain happens when the tooth nerve is inflamed. Generally this occurs due to compromised tooth enamel which is allowing material to enter directly into the tooth pulp (the center of your tooth). Sometimes tooth pain can also actually be gum pain, from gum disease or from other gum problems, just be aware of this.

quick home remedies
- olive oil soaked on cotton applied to tooth
- vanilla extract or almond extract applied to tooth
- cut a slice of onion and put it into your mouth near pain
- crushed garlic on tooth
- oregano oil
- clove oil
- golden seal powder
- baking soda swished in mouth
- oil pulling (swishing in the mouth organic sesame seed oil for 5-10 minutes .)
- Marine grade coral calcium applied to the tooth or mouth
- Other: Ozone tooth treatments from a dentist.

Types of Tooth Pain

This will help you get an idea of what type of problem you have. This is not meant to be a replacement for dental advise, but to help you understand what you are needing.

Pain: Temporary sensitivity to hot or cold foods without recent dental work.

Meaning: Minor breech of tooth nerve or beginning gum disease.

Pain: Lasting sensitivity and more constant awareness of hot or cold foods without recent dental work.

Meaning: The tooth pulp is likely infected, the tooth may be cracked or chipped, or the beginning of gum disease.

Pain: Temporary sensitivity to hot or cold foods after recent dental treatment.

Meaning: Dental work can cause tooth pulp inflammation which would be an intense but very short pain. Tooth pulp should heal within 2-4 weeks.

Pain: Lasting or prolonged sensitivity and constant awareness of hot or cold foods after recent dental treatment.

Meaning: The tooth cavity may have been too close to tooth pulp and dental treatment did not protect the pulp sufficiently. One person wrote to me about this issue after having their mercury amalgam's replaced. Dentists will normally recommend root canals to treat this.

Pain: Sharp pain from biting down on food

Possible Meanings:

- Loose Filling
- Tooth Decay
- Cracked or Fractured Tooth
- Infected Tooth

Pain: Constant and severe pain with pressure, swelling of the gum, and sensitivity to touch.

Meaning: Tooth abscess(infection).

Pain: The tooth hurts when you tap your finger from the side.

Meaning: The periodontal ligament is degenerating or inflamed

Myths and Lies about teeth care

Be careful what you hear and trust

Myth: Brush your teeth with a fluoride-containing toothpaste to prevent cavities.

Fact: Fluoride is a deadly poison, don't brush your teeth with poison. Toothpaste sticks to teeth and prevents remineralization. I suggest tooth powder, tooth liquid or tooth herbs. (Tooth brushing is okay) Fluoride makes the teeth brittle, as well as all the bones in your body, destroys your liver over time, and causes dental fluorosis.

Myth: Limit snacks to stop tooth decay. If sticky foods are eaten then you should brush your teeth soon afterwards to prevent cavities.

Fact: Indigenous tribes with sticky foods on their teeth did not get cavities. It is a good idea to limit sweet snacks as excessive use of sweets alter's your blood sugar, but by all means, eat snacks if you are hungry. The problem is eating the life depleting foods when you snack. It is not the frequency of the snacking, but the food being used. If you avoid snacks, you may be depriving your body of nutrition from food. Good snacks should include healthy proteins and fats.

Myth: Supplemental fluoride strengthens your teeth and helps prevent cavities.

Fact: Fluoride bonds to our bone structure creating partially artificial tooth and bone. Fluoride is a deadly poison, and not a body building mineral. To strengthen your teeth you need minerals from whole foods, especially phosphorus. You need glue to hold the minerals in, that is accomplished by eating foods containing fat-soluble vitamins.

Myth: Drinking fluoridated water stops cavities. At least a pint of fluoridated water each day is needed to protect children from tooth decay.

Fact: Fluoridated water has been linked with cancer, and it pollutes your body, destroying your internal organs over time. Children are the most susceptible to fluoride poisoning because they organs are developing.

The Science Of Tooth Decay Prevention

We are told to believe that researchers are developing new means to prevent tooth decay. One such example are supposed studies that say that the sweetener xylitol will stop tooth decay causing bacteria. Or that new devices which slowly release fluoride over time, which will help prevent further decay, are being explored.

The reality is that a real cure to tooth decay has already been discovered. One that does not use poisonous chemicals, dental treatments, or fake cure-alls like xylitol sugar.

Heal and Prevent Cavities!

Tooth decay prevention is both possible, necessary and the only sane next step.

It is the only necessary next step, because it does not make sense to continue getting dental treatments, year after year, that fail to cure tooth decay, but rather put a band-aid on the effects of tooth decay.

"After the nutrition was improved, the tissues of the pulp built in secondary dentine thus reincasing itself in a closed chamber." - Weston A. Price, DDS
¥¤¥á¡¼¥¸ 1

What you see above are 2 x-ray images of the same tooth from one individual. The two downward projections represent the roots of the tooth. In the center of each root you will see a dark streak. These streaks, the root canals, are the spaces where nerves and blood vessels connect to the jaw.

The x-ray on the left shows a large and prominent dark area at the crown of the tooth. This is a very large cavity that leaves the pulp and nerves of the tooth exposed to the mouth.

The x-ray on the right shows the tooth after some time of nutritional treatment. A temporary filling was placed to protect the pulp from the pain of pressure produced by food. The result is a progressive filling in of the dentine, the new secondary tooth layer that, in many cases, is hard and glassy. In as little as six weeks time we can begin to rebuild our tooth dentine, creating new enamel and thus healing cavities.

The esteemed dentist, Weston A. Price, author of Nutrition and Physical Degeneration, discovered that it is the presence of special life-giving vitamins in certain foods that gives people immunity to tooth decay. These foods are rarely included in our modern diet.

Even many of those familiar with the work of Dr. Price will benefit from the clarity and integrity with which I present my understanding of his protocol, his key points, and the reasons why many people fail to prevent tooth decay despite eating a more natural or traditional diet.

How To Heal Cavities

1. Stop eating non-organic processed and refined foods. People excessively consume white flour products, sweet foods, foods with too much sugar and so forth, you must avoid them completely.

2. Replace processed food with nutrient dense whole foods. Some nutrient dense foods are free range eggs, raw milk, raw butter, grassfed animal organs, fish and shellfish, good vegetables (juiced or in stews.)

3. Make sure to eat special foods high in fat-soluble vitamins from the nutrient dense food category, and make sure to eat them in a way in which they are absorbable. That includes eating special foods raw, marinated, in stews, and with lots of fat.

4. Check to see if what you are doing is working. Pay attention to your teeth, examine your teeth, check for pain or soft spots. See how your teeth and overall health are. If you are getting worse, you are doing something that is out of balance with your body. If the health changes you make are correct for your body, you will notice that your teeth will be stronger and feel better.

When we let go of our food addictions and food substitutes through removing the processed and denatured foods and getting back to high vitamin foods including humanely raised animal foods, and really try to nourish ourselves, we can be free of cavities.

Tooth decay happens when our bodies are out of balance. Tooth decay is not caused primarily by germs or bacteria.

When we eat too much sweet and processed foods, and when we do not eat enough vitamins and minerals, particularly fat-soluble vitamins.

The dental establishment has taught false theories about the cause and prevention of tooth decay based on faulty science that does not work. These common myths about tooth decay are believed by the majority of the public.
