「細身の、スリムな」の意味は全くない。
look smart は「賢そうに見える」で、本当に賢い墓hさだかでがない。

＊look like 〜　は「〜のように見える」「〜になりそうだ」の意味です。
It might rain. もほぼ同じ意味ですが、　It looks like rain. の方が空を見上げて言う感じがあります。
