We went to Mt. Ogidake this morning, we found out some differences between Mt. Ogidake and Daikanbo. Look down from the Daikanbo, we could see the square field as far as possible, and also villages. We even tried to figure out where we lived and worked. Beautiful scenery surrounded on our way, you could see various view from different angles. Compared to Daikanbo, views of Mt.Ogidake were less village but we could clearly see the outer rains and Aso’s Five Peaks in the west, Sobo-Katamuki in the south, and Mt. Kuju in the north.
Next, we went to Nakae Kagura Hall, it was the place where promote traditional religion activities, there will be holding the performance at the first Sunday from April to November. (Except October) Due to our schedule, we don’t have time to join the event. For our last spot today, we visited Ogi shrine, it was located under the Mt. Ogidake. In the beginning, we thought the shrine would be out of our expectation; however, it made us really amazing! Though it was a small shrine, the skills of the structure was exquisite. We could also smelled wood scent when we walked around the shrine.
Today is our last day to work in michi-no-eki ASO, thanks for taking good care of us. Though we have language barriers, we still could feel the kindness from the staffs. Gonna miss the view and people in Aso so much!
