今日のトム・トムスンの絵は” Canadian Wildflowers” である。彼は雄大な景色ばかり描いていたわけではない。人物像も動物もスケッチしているが、完成させていない。今日は非常に珍しい彼の花の絵である。 詩人は毎度登場のネレー・ボーシュマン。これは彼が長生きして、二冊本を出版したせいもある。データ・ベースにはまだ収録されている。 Fleurs d'aurore Comme au printemps de l'autre année, Au mois des fleurs, après les froids, Par quelque belle matinée, Nous irons encore sous bois. Nous y verrons les mêmes choses, Le même glorieux réveil, Et les mêmes métamorphoses De tout ce qui vit au soleil. Nous y verrons les grands squelettes Des arbres gris, ressusciter, Et les yeux clos des violettes À la lumière palpiter. Sous le clair feuillage vert tendre, Les tourterelles des buissons, Ce jour-là, nous feront entendre Leurs lentes et molles chansons. Ensemble nous irons encore Cueillir dans les prés, au matin, De ces bouquets couleur d'aurore Qui fleurent la rose et le thym. Nous y boirons l'odeur subtile, Les capiteux aromes blonds Que, dans l'air tiède et pur, distille La flore chaude des vallons. Radieux, secouant le givre Et les frimas de l'an dernier, Nos chers espoirs pourront revivre Au bon vieux soleil printanier. I'll memorize also this beautiful poem. When I read in French, I'm very happy. In general, before sleeping, I read French plays, words if songs written in French and poems written in French to memorize beautiful French sentences and expressions.^^

By the way, I am always at a loss to transliterate French proper nouns into katakana. I tried to split the name BEAUCHEMIN into two element, that is, "beau" and "chemin". The meaning of his name may be "beautiful road", I think. "beau" and "chemin". are transliterted「ボー」,「シュマン」in Japan respectedly. Could you tell me your opinion?

If I translate BEAUCHEMIN into Korean, I write the name of poete as "보(Beau) 슈맹(Chemin)"according to South Korean rules of writing of foreign language's inscription. But if "보슈망" is more exacte inscription into Korean to nearer pronounciation of French "Beauchemin" ^^

As I write above, according to South Korean rules of writing of foreign language's inscription, "BEAUCHEMIN" is translated into Korean as "보슈맹". But "보슈망" is more exacte inscription translated into Korean to nearer pronounciation of French^^ In Korean language, there are not many vowels which can mark and write exactly French pronounciation. ^^

Thank you for your information. I understand what you mean. You may have been frustrated with inexact transliteration. You must follow inexact way, if already established.
But Krean and Japanese belong to the same language family. We share the same problem.
