春 -- ブレイク

「今日の詩」の選者が送ってきたのはブレイクの “Spring” 「春」である。一見子供のための教材のような詩である。３詩節から成立するこの詩は、最後の行を除いて、１行３音節とうい短さである。しかも強弱格であり、童謡のようである。親子で楽しむ詩であろうか。

Bird's delight,
Day and night,
Nightingale,
In the dale,
Lark in sky,
