白馬金羈潦海東
羅帳繡被臥春風
落月低軒窺燭盡
飛花入戸笑床空

羅幃繡被　春風に臥す
落月　軒に低れて燭の盡くるを窺い
飛花　戸に入って床空を笑う

Lamentation in spring

Gold-bridled, the white horse left for the border years ago.
Through the silky curtain, I’m caressed by breezes in spring,
The moon steals in from the eaves to see a candle burnt low,
My idle boudoir is fretted with laughing flowers on the wing.

En selle d’or, le cheval blanc est encore à la frontière.
La brise caresse mon joue à traverse le rideau de soie.
La lune a trouvé ma peti bougie presque san lumière.
Les fleurs en vol envahissent mon boudoir riant avec joie.
