英独仏訳「田園楽 其六 ― 王維」

王維の「田園楽　其六」の訳詩は無理をしないで五歩格を目安に訳詩した。ほぼ原詩の意が伝えられ、翻訳原語の都合に合わせた改竄も少なかったと信じている。やはり欧米の標準的な長さ五歩が自然なのであろうか。

田園楽　　其六　
　　　　
桃紅復含宿雨　　　
柳緑更帯春煙　　　
花落家僮未掃　　　
鴬啼山客猶眠　　

王維

桃は紅にして　復た宿雨を含み
柳は緑にして　更に春煙を帯ぶ
花落ちて家僮掃はず　
鴬啼きて山客猶ほ眠る

英訳

Peaches in red bloom drink overnight showers.
Willows in green leaf loom beyond misty veil.
My boy reluctantly sweeps the flowers.
Warblers sing to wake me to no avail.

召使はしぶしぶ花を掃き

後記：仏訳において francophile さんの示唆があり三行目の＜est peu enclin ＞を＜hésite ＞に置き換えた。その結果２音節の節約が可能になり「bonne 女中」を原詩のように「garçon 召使」にすることができた。

李白 杜甫 王維 are three great poets in Japan. My French translation is poor and lack of much of his information. But I want to translate it within 10 syllables per line. I tried to rhime l’eau with râteau and brume with coutume. But I do not know the French pronunciation welll.

In French, the pronounciation "r" is very different from English "r". When I started to learn French with a French professor, I exercised this pronounciation during a month. When I succeeded with difficult French pronounciation, I was very very happy as if I walked in sky. Yes, French prononciation is difficult, but you will also succeed with French pronounciation. :)

Thank you for your kind comment. In his original, <Mon garçon est peu encline à prendre son râteau>. But I abandoned garçon to save syllables. I found <est peu encline > 4 syllables and never thought of other expression. Though je hésite, I employed bonne for garçon to save one syllable.

Are you interested in the painting? The painter is 徽宗 last Emperor of 北宋. He is a master painter and calligrapher. He is considered to be a geneous in Chinese history of art. But he is one of the worst emperor.

王維 was so popular with aristcratic people at Heian Era. His poem is a staple text of 漢文 in high school. I think you know the following.

Could you tell me how 徽宗 is pronounciated in Korean. We pronounce 徽宗 <Kisou>. If he were not gifted with art, He might not have been the last Emperor of 北宋. That is a tragedy. Poor Emperor.

In Korean, 徽宗 is pronounced in "Huijong". In Korean, the prononciation "h" is the same as English "h". But in French "h" is not pronounciated.
