お早うございます。ご訪問とお気遣いを感謝します。私は無事です。

私は死者も負傷者も一人もいないし、スーパーには物があふれていて、震災の影響をほとんど受けていない地域にすんでいます。

私は横浜に住んでいる友人と東京に出かけてルブラン展を見に行く約束をしていました。横浜から東京へ出かけるほうが大変みたいです。

何よりも気落ちしたのと、いま自分の楽しみを追求するのが憚られるのです。贅沢な料理を売り物にするブログをコンスタントに投稿している人がいますが、私には理解できません。東北地方で私のブログを見る人はいないとおもいますが、今は投稿する気分ではないのです。

もしかしたら東北地方にお住まいなのかと思いました。
今回ヴィジェ・ルブラン展も休館しているようです。
私は観に行く予定だったので残念です。
５月８日まで開催なので、それまでに東京に行けたらよいのですが
無理かもしれません。
念願だった美術展なので実際にこの目で見てみたかったですね。
一日も早く被災地が復興するのと、関東地方の計画停電も中止になり普通の生活に戻れることを願うばかりです。

またいつかルブランの回想録が再開するのを楽しみにしています。

Excuse-me for interfering the comments between you and ROCOCO-san, but if I understand well, I think that I saw the name Elisabeth Vigée Le Brun who was Marie-Antoinette's painter. Is there an exhibition of Elisabeth Vigée Le Brun in Tokyo? I am very interested in Elisabeth Vigée Le Brun's exhibition as like that I am very interested in exhibition "Tokugawa princesses" held in Nagoya's Tokugawa art museum between june and september 20ll.

I want to translate into Korean a french book on Elisabeth Vigée Le Brun, but she is not well known here. But many south korean readers may be interested in her, if she is presented as Marie-Antoinette's painter, because many south koreans are very interested in Marie-Antoinette.

In South Korea, there are many books on european Impressionism, but there are not yet many books on Japanese pantings, that's why I have to buy on Amazon USA or Amazon France books on japanese paintings. I enjoy also drawing or painting Yukiko-san decorated with japanese style's themes as like Sakura, japanese temples, bamboo, so on.

She is justifiably compared with Clara Schuman the female pianist. Her fingers supported her widow life.

Je vous remercie beaucoup de m'avoir recommandé le site. I've just visited this site where I can see beautiful paintings of Madame Le Brun. And thank you very much also for your informations on her. Yes, one of reasons why I like her, because she was porfessional and independant. I respect her. And her paintings are so beautiful(colors, details of expression, so on). I found a site dedicated to Vigee Lebrun several yeas ago and challenged to translate her famous Souvenir(Memoir in English) . It was so challenging. My translation was least successful in that I could not transliterate French and Russian name, place, and titles.

So I decided to challenge a revised version with more exact カタカナexpression.

I believe that you can translate with sucess, because you have mank knowledges on european art, Mme Le Brun and that you have a very good linguistic talent. Je vous souhaite un bon courage! In korean, Elsabeth Vigée le Brun is pronounced as "엘리자베트 비제 르 브랑". For me, russian names are really difficult to pronounce. When I translate french books, I had some difficulties to write into korean russian names, eastern and northern european names especially.

I wonder if translation of her souvenir is commercially successful in Korea. But I recommend you to read it. You will be thrilled to read her exodus from Paris. It is more interesting than ordinary adventurous novel.

And unfortunately, in South korea, there is no book on Mme Le Brun. What a pity. I would like to present some french books on her to South korean publishing houses, even if I wonder if she interests South korean publishing houses. If I have a complaint on Seoul's life is that exhibitions which are held are not various. Seoul has to do much more efforts to become a real cultural city, I think.
