Good afternoon! I wish you a Merry Christmas. This beautiful painting is "The Morning of Snow” (1934) by Miki Suizan (1887-1957) provided by the National Museum of Korea. The National Museum of Korea has opened a permanent exhibition of Japanese art in its Asian Arts Gallery, I will go ther.

山種美術館 was founded by 山崎種二, successful stock dealer, notorious for risky speculation. He had collected many Japanese academicians' works. Among them are 美人画.

Especially, I am interested in English, French, German, Italien, Spenish, Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonesem Vietnamese, Thai. But it is impossible to learn them all. So if I have to choose, I would like to study more French(this is my working-language), English(I like British black tea and I like traveling in Singapore and Hong Kong. English is an international language.

If I were Japanese, I would register the class of Ichimatsu dolls Kimono in the Tokyo Ichimatsu doll museum located in Sugamo market. In this museum, Yukiko-san was sold. In this musem, there are sometimes, special exhibitions are held by Ichimatsu dolls' collectors. I think that if have a good chance, I can, maybe, meet Yukiko-san in real in a special exhibition. I am sure that she is possessed by a kind collector.

Because I know that Tokyo Ichimatsu dolls museum is visited by real collectors who take care very well of Ichimatsu dolls. So I feel relieved really. :)

You may have learned that 上村松園(1875年 - 1949) was a single mother. She is 35 years senior to my mother. She was not woman right activist. She delivered a baby(上村 松篁) at people's disapproval glance. Who fathered 上村 松篁? He is considered to be 鈴木松年, who was academic painter and held fairly successful atelier in Kyoto. 上村松園 was apprenticed to him.

But anyway, I think that 上村松園 was a brave woman. The most important thing is that 上村松園 has been a very talented artiste.

Nowadays also, I have enjoyed painting and drawing Yukiko-San,my favorite Ichimatsu doll in seeing her photos(She is always themain character in my paintings and drawings), Noh mask, Ichimatsu dolls preserved in shrines or possessed by Japanese Icnimatsu dolls fans, Kimono's various patterns, Yukiko-San with Japanese style background.

After March 11, I went to Tokyo and enjoyed the exhibition of Elizabeth Veggie Le Brun, Marie Antoinette's favorite court painter. I remember a copy of the portrait on the wall of 三菱一号館美術館.
