サンザシ -- 伝チョーサー

５月９日に投稿したサンザシの詩の和訳に今年のけりをつけたいと思った。また来年までにチョーサーをすこしかじることにしよう。

サンザシの花

五月を告ぐる蕾　
祭りの衣で野をかざり
妍をきそわんとするが

うるわしく咲きほこるサンザシの木を見るべし
こはましろき衣をたくみに着こなし
五月のよろこびでうつりぎな人の目をうばう

ちょっとふざけて伝チョーサーの英詩を復元したら、こんな感じになるかもしれない。英語の先生にはみせられないが、チョーサー作とされる詩があったとしてこんな調子ではないか。あくまでもお遊びであるが、以下の英単語は一応チョーサーの活躍した時代の英単語としてＯＥＤに保存されているものである。
