A science — so the Savants say,

A science — so the Savants say,
"Comparative Anatomy" —
By which a single bone —
Is made a secret to unfold
Of some rare tenant of the mold,
Else perished in the stone —

So to the eye prospective led,
This meekest flower of the mead

＊ 何の変哲もない骨から希少な金属を見つけるカギになる。名の変哲もない冬の花から華麗なバラや百合を期待しうるものである。それが「科学」である。
