生物学上の知識が乏しいからよく分からなかった。夏と冬には苺食べられない。秋が二回あるとリスはナッツ類には事欠かないで、美味い苺から食べ尽くす。渡り鳥は苺にありつけないというお話とするしかない。第一詩節は読者を幻惑させるが、直接「落ち」に結びつかない。そうは思いたくないが。
