The Wizarding World of Harry Potter 2

「ハリーポッターと禁じられた旅」は、ホグワーツ城の中にあります。

"Harry Potter and The Forbidden Journey" is located in Hogwarts Castle.

このアトラクションは、荷物をロッカーに預けなければなりません。

ユニバーサルスタジオのアトラクションは、ほとんどのライドにロッカーがあり、1時間程度なら無料でした。

(This attraction required to put all bag into the lockers which is free within about a hour.

Most attractions in Universal Studios had Lockers for free within about a hour.)

開園と同時にハリーポッターエリアへ来て、

一直線にこのライドに並び始めましたが、この時点で待ち時間は45分程度でした。

昼以降だと140分待ちとかが普通だったと思います。

Let's join Q-line.When I went there at 9:30 am, I waited in line about 45 minutes.

But, in the afternoon, wait time was over 140 minutes.

Qラインを少し進んだところに、薬草学の教室があります。

There is a class room of "Herbology" in Q-line.

この教室と言えば、やっぱりマンドレイクですよね。

Of course, there are some mandrakes.

キ〜キ〜キ〜!!の声でネビルが倒れてしまったり…

Neville may come down with strong sounds.

ホグズミード村の店には、キーキー言ってる超元気なマンドレイクが居ます。

In Hogsmeade village, there is a really bouncing mandrake. 

皆さん、声を聞いて死なないでね。

Please don't be dead　by strong noise.

薬草学の教室に、城のエントランスがあり、その入口には各寮の点数表が!!

１位、グリフィンドール。2位がスリザリンのようですね。

(I found points of these classes. No.1 is Griffindor, and No.2 is Slytherin.)

さらにQラインを進んでいくと、

校長室、「闇の魔術に対する防衛術」の教室、動く絵画の間、そして組分け帽子があります。

暗くて写真が撮れませんでした。

(After keep going, there are president's room, class room of "Defense Against the Dark Arts",

 chamber of moving pictures, and the Sorting Hat...)

組分け帽子を超えると、ライドの乗り場です。

(After the Sorting Hat, it is place to ride a attraction.)

ライド的には、USJのスパイダーマンの様な物なのですが、

やっぱり最新のライドなので、かなりスリルがあってとても面白いです。

3Dメガネが無くても、ライドの動きや演出効果で本当に空を飛んでいるように感じる、素晴らしいライドでした。

速度はありませんが、かなり左右上下前後に傾き、面白かったです。

大阪に、いや家に欲しい!!(笑)

(The attraction was similar to "the Amazing Adventures of Spider Man the Ride" in the USJ, 

but this attraction is a state-of-the-art ride, so I really enjoyed it!

However this ride doesn't need 3D grasses, I felt like flying.

It wasn't faster attraction, but I felt a thrill and it was really fun!

I wanna it in my home!LOL)

ライドは4人掛けのベンチのような物で、それが映像や音響などの効果に合わせ動きます。

空を実際に飛んでいるような気持ちよさがあって、最高でした!!

これは、大阪に出来るのが楽しみです!!

(The ride look like a bench which move for 

up and down, right and left, and forward and backward.is able to sit four people.) 

続いて訪れたのが「Dragon Challenge」。炎のゴブレットのドラゴンが舞台です。

結構ハードなジェットコースターなので、荷物はホグズミード駅舎の中のロッカーに預けなければなりません。

(Next, we visited "Dragon Challenge which is a roller coaster 

about Dragon of "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire".)

This attraction also needs to put your bag into lockers because it has loops and spins.) 

ロンパパのフォード・アングリアが墜落して動き回らないので、安心して写真撮影ができます(笑)

奥の小屋は、ハグリッドの家。

(Since Ron's father's car crashed into the Forbidden Forests, you can take picture with it anytime.)

このジェットコースターに乗らないと、これらの展示は、見ることができません。

(If you don't ride this roller coaster, you can't check these things.)

ドラゴンと戦う直前のテント。これから試合が始まります。準備はいいですか?

(Now, we are in tent of contestants. It's time to fight a first task of Triwizard Tournament. Are you ready?)

このジェットコースターは、

「ハンガリアン・ホーンテイル」と「チャイニーズ・ファイヤーボール」の2種類のドラゴンがあるのですが、

今回は、ハンガリアン・ホーンテイルに乗りました。

There are two kinds of roller coaster in this attraction which are "Hungarian Horntail" and "Chinese Fireball".

床のない、ぶら下がり式で、最高速度は88.5km/h, トータル5回転のじゃじゃ馬(竜）です。

These coasters haven't a space of foot space. Highest speed is 55 mph, and total inversion are 5 times. 

坂道を登り切った瞬間、スピンで急降下。

「ループだ!　うわ!風でメガネ飛びそう!!」なんだで、

気が付いたら三半規管をメチャクチャにされて、終わりました。

(After it has climbed hill, we did spin and dive.

"There is loop! OMG!My glasses might be flown away!!"

I don't understand what happened for me.)

で、どうだったかって?

めっちゃ面白かった。そしてメッチャ楽しかった。

でも、久しぶりにハードなの乗ったからか、体中が痛くなりました。特に足。

でもサイコーです!!

(It was really excited and fun. I hope it will be built in USJ.

Because USJ doesn't have roller coaster so much.)

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter 1

アメリカには、サンクス・ギビングという一週間ほどの休暇があるのですが、

今回その休暇を利用して、フロリダ・オーランドにある、

ディズニーとユニバに行ってきました!!

(In thanks giving break, 

I went Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando Resort 

with my Japanese friend.)

ユニバーサルスタジオ・オーランド・リゾートには、2つのパークがあり、

「アイランド・オブ・アドベンチャー」というパークには、

現在世界でココしかない（2014年にUSJに完成予定）

ハリーポッターのエリアがあります。

(In the Universal Studio Orlando Resort, 

there are two theme parks.)

(And "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" 

which is located in "Universal Studio's Islands of Adventure".

In 2014, it will open in "Universal Studio Japan",

 but this time, the only Harry Potter theme park in the world.)

エリア「ハリー・ポッターの魔法の世界」には3種類のアトラクションと

ハリーに関するお店が入ったホグズミード村からなる

ワクワクドキドキなエリアです。

・・・大阪にできるのかぁ。楽しみだぁ!!

(The area is consisted by Hogsmeade village and three kinds of attractions.

It's so amazing and we can enter the movie's world.

I can't wait, same things will be built in Osaka, Japan!)

ハリーポッター・エリアはパーク入口から一番遠いところにあります。

(Harry Potter Area is located in side of park and really far way from park entrance.)

エリアのゲートをくぐるとまず最初に見えてきたのが、

ホグズミード駅と真っ赤なボディーのホグワーツエクスプレス。

(First we can see the Hogwarts Express 

which is waiting for departure in Hogsmeade Station.)

映画に使われた本物のホグワーツエクスプレスは、イギリスの保存鉄道で走っているらしいので、

いつか乗りに行ってみたいものです。

(I heard that real Hogwarts Express 

which was used to take movie is running on the railway in the UK,

someday I wanna go there to ride it.)

そして、目の前に映画にも登場したホグズミードの街並みが広がります。

(This is Hogsmeade's sight view. 

There is world of Harry Potter in front of me!!)

ここはフロリダで、気温は暑いのに、劇中通りに街も雪化粧をしています。

(Florida is hot place, but Hogsmeade is artificial snowy weather.)

ホグズミードの村を抜けると、目の前にドンと構えているのが、ホグワーツ城。

(After we through Hogsmeade village, Hogwarts Castle is standing on the mountain.)

画面の世界を実際の目で見れてテンションのゲージが跳ね上がります!!

(I can't stay cool because I'm so excited!!)

ホグズミードと言えば、バタービール。

フローズンか液体と、どちらか選べます。

映画では液体だったので、同じものを飲みたいと思い、液体を頼みました。

(In the Harry Potter world, Harry and friends drinks Butter Beer.

You can choice frozen or liquid.

In the movie, of course it was liquid, so I drunk liquid.)

が・しかし・・・

However...

たしか原作では、

「バタービールは温かい飲み物で、凍えたハリーの体を暖かくしてくれた」

的な事が書いてありましたが、

フロリダは暑いので、バタービールは冷たい飲み物でした。

(I think, in the book or movie, Butter Beer was a hot drink,

But, Butter Beer in here was a cold drink and a carbonated drink.)

味はねぇ…不思議な味。炭酸飲料です（汗）

(Taste was mystery.)

上の白い泡がバニラの味で、下のビールみたいな液体が、薄めたコーラの味・・・かな?

で、ほんのりバターの香り。

(White bubble testes vanilla, and liquid was weak coke with smell of little bit butter.)

USJにハリーポッターエリアが出来れば、日本の冬は寒いから、

原作みたいに暖かい不思議なバタービールが飲めるのかな?

(In Japanese winter season is cold, so maybe we can drink hot butter beer in the USJ like book or movie.)

せっかくだから、駅員さんと撮ってもらいました♪

髪の毛の色明るくしていったら、

「よう!　ロナルド・ウィーズリーこんなところで何やってるんだ!?」

と言われました＾＾

Before I came there, I just changed my hair color,

so he said me

"Hey! Ronald Weasly, what are you doing here?"

他にもホグズミード村には、

ゾンコの悪戯グッズ店（ウィーズリー製品もありました）、

ハニーデュークスのお菓子店（カエルチョコが売っています）

オリバンダー杖店（本当はダイアゴン横丁だけど）

三本の箒（パブ）

といった、ハリーの世界が再現されています。

(You can enjoy shopping and eating in the Hogsmeade Village.)

つい夢中になって、ホグワーツのマフラー・ネクタイと切手とポストカード、そして杖を買ってしまいました。

ハリーの杖は実家にもともと2本持っていたので、

ジニー、モリー、マクゴナガル、ネビルとハーマイオニーのデザインが綺麗でとっても迷いましたが、

ジニーの杖を購入しました!!

(I bought scarf, tie, postcard, stamp and wand.

I couldn't decide which wand is best, but finally,

I bought Ginny's wand because I already have Harry's wand.)

 

もちろん「怪物的 な怪物本」も店内にありましたよ♪

                              (You can find a "the Monster Book of Monsters")

杖やバタービールは行列のできる超人気店なので、

お店だけでなく、出店も出ています。

(Wand shop or Butter Beer restaurant are really crowed, so you can get them a stall.)

オリバンダー杖店でポストカードを買うと、

ホグズミード村のオウルポストで記念のスタンプがもらえます。

事前にHISのブログで知って、買ったのですが、ボッタクリです(笑)

(If you buy a post card and stamps, you can get a datemark in the "Owl Post".

I knew that from Japanese travel company's blog, although it was so expensive!!)

またちょっとしたスペースがホグズミード村の端にあって、

時間によってホグワーツのカエルの合唱団（なんか生徒の年齢高いけど…）や

炎のゴブレットに登場した

ムキムキなダームストラングとセクシーなボーバトンの2校の生徒（なんか生徒の年齢高いけど…）が

登場し、写真撮影に応じていました。（一緒に撮ってもらいました♪）

(In the small show place where is in side of Hogsmeade, 

Students of Hogwarts, Durmstrang, and  Beauxbaton were taking pictures with visitors.)

帰ってから開けてみたのですが、これがカエルチョコです。

ちゃんと映画のとおり、カードが入っていました。

でもカエルはでっかいチョコの塊で、食べるのが大変です。

クッキーとか調理に使ったほうがいいですよ。

(After I came back to home, I ate a "Chocolate Frogs".

There is a big frog chocolate which was really hard should used for making cookie or something.

And there is also a card of wizard like movie.)

でさっき知ったのですが、2015年頃新しいダイアゴン横丁がユニバーサルスタジオ側に出来て、

アイランドオブアドベンチャー側のエリアとユニバーサルスタジオ側のエリアの間を、

ホグワーツエクスプレスに乗って行き来することができる!!というNEWSがありました！

コレはもう一回行かなくては!!

(I just know that, in 2015, Diagon Alley will be built in Universal studios Orlando,

and Hogwarts Express will link between Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade Village.

I must visit there again!!)

test week

僕は今学期、KSUの語学研修で、

ライティング（グラマーとエッセイ）、リーディング、リスニング、スピーキングのクラスを取っています。

僕のクラスのレベルは、レベル５中レベル4です。レベル5を卒業できれば、大学の正規授業が取れます。...長い道のりだぁ…

（In this fall semester, I'm taking Writing, Reading, Listening, and Speaking of English classes which name is ELP level 150. This class's level is level 4 from 5. If I will be able to pass a level 5, I can take University class. It takes long times.）

今週は、学期の最後の週で、期末テストが行われています。

僕は、さっきの4つのクラスの期末試験があるのですが、

期末は最も大切な試験で、もし落ちたら、

同じレベルのクラスを来学期にもう一度”リピート”つまり取り直さないといけません。

だから何がなんでもパスしなきゃいけないんです!!（汗）

This week is last week of fall semester and which there are four classes of final tests.

Final tests are the most important tests in this semester and if a student fell this classes, who will need to take same classes again in next semester, so I must pass this tests.

でも、この週が終われば、日本に帰って７ヶ月ぶりに家族や友達と会えます。

However, after I will finish these tests,

 　　　　I can go back to Japan and I can say to Hello! for my family and friends. LOL

でも、理由は無いけど、本当に気分が浮かなくて、テストが心配です。

まあスピーキングとリスニングとリーディングは既に昨日までに受け終えちゃったんですけど。

But, I am really nervous about these tests, although I don't have reason about it...

Actually, I already took Speaking, Listening, and Reading tests until yesterday, so I'm just waiting for these result.

今日は午後にリーディングのクラスがあったんです。

クラスのみんなで、教室で先生を待っていると、

先生がすごく真剣な顔で、教室に入ってきて、言いました。

I had reading class this afternoon.

When I and my classmates are waiting for a teacher in the class,

                  my teacher entered into the class with really serious face,　and she said it.

「残念だけど、ほとんどの生徒が落第よ。」

"Unfortunately, most of students fell a this test."

（え!?俺めっちゃベストを尽くしたのに、意味が分からねえよ!!)

(OMG!!I don't understand what she said!!I did my best...What a F●CK!)

教室の空気がすごく重くなった時、先生が言いました。

After atmosphere of class was really changed for bad, she smiled and said it.

「ジョークよ。ほとんどの生徒が合格よ。

テストはすごく難しかったのに、あなた達はよくやったわ。

あなた達は、今まで私が教えたリーディングのクラスで一番よ!!」

"It's joke, most of students passed a this test. 

    This test was really difficult, but you guys did really good job!　　　　　　　　　　You are the best students in ever I taught reading!"

However, I'm still waiting two result of tests and I still have a writing test in tomorrow.

I hope that these tests will save me...hopefully...

カンザス州立大学のリスたち

何かのニュースか本で、

アメリカの何処かの大学でリスが大量発生して、

これ以上増えないように繁殖予防の薬を散布している

という事を聞きましたが…

(In the some article or book,

I read that someone is trying to reduce the number of fractures by medicine

because the number of fractures are greatly increasing in some universities in the U.S..)

ココ、カンザス州立大学にもリスは腐る程います。

(In the KSU, you can also see tons of fractures...)

授業の帰り道、今日はリスを撮って見ました。

(After I finished class today, I was taking some fracture's pictures in campus.)

さてアメリカには「Thanks Giving」という秋休みがあります♫

そのThanks Givingが今日始まりました!!

(Any way, Thanks Giving Break was just started today.)

僕は、月曜日からフロリダのディズニー・ユニバに行って来ます♫

Star Tours2，FantasmicやHarry Potterが楽しみです!!

〜近況〜

お元気ですか??

先日、大学の航空学の先輩にお会いしたときに、

「ブログ更新しないの〜？」っと言われましたので、

（ブログを読み返すと、恥ずかしいので、最近更新する意欲がありませんでしたが）

何か書こうと思います。

カンザスに来て、先輩に空へ連れていっていただきました。

一度は、ネブラスカ州立大学・カーニー校へ。もう一度は、ミネアポリス空港という、滑走路の細い空港へ。

UNKの訓練機材。ピッカピカです♪

先輩がセスナをレンタルしてくださった、会社。

カンザス州立大学の航空学部が入っている、サライナ空港にあります。

サライナキャンパスへは、マンハッタンキャンパスから１時間程です。

空はイイですね!!＾＾!!
