Hello everyone. I’m Audrey Kiko Daniel.

Also known to my fans and most people as Kiko Mizuhara.

 

I would like to sincerely apologize to everyone in China.

And clarify few things for the video, particularly to the online community for being upset with me over recent events.  

 

For those who not familiar with my background

I currently live in Japan but I was actually born in the United States.

My dad is American.

And my mom is Korean born in Japan.

Her family moved to Japan when I was 2 and growing up in Kobe

With my diverse cultural background, given me the opportunity to be exposed to different cultures and befriend people from around the world.

More importantly, I learned to appreciate mutual respect for different people.

I see myself as global citizen and even before coming to work in China in recent years, I have many Chinese fans in Japan who are very close and dear to me.

As I spend more time in China, I feel fortunate to be able to make new friends, learn more about China, about its long history and amazing culture.

I definitely will not offend or intended to offend anyone in China.

Hence I would like to clarify and bring a close on 3 recent incidents.

 

Firstly, I am a supporter of world peace and definitely Anti War.

I am confirming that this (Ms.Daniel show a picture of a girl in yukata) is not me in the picture.

 

A very close Chinese friend told me that this is a case of ****(She speaks mandarin)

 

The second incident witch I would like to clarify is related to another picture.

 

I was accused of posing offensively in front of a flag.

I will also like to confirm absolutely that I am not in the picture.

And I am a supporter of peace.

 

Thirdly, there was a regrettable incident on Instagram in 2013.

When I was introducing my friend to Instagram and I was encouraging him to post pictures.

As a result, I was supporting his post by giving him LIKEs. *****(Can’t hear clearly), we found out that he had posted an extremely inappropriate picture.

I have deleted my LIKE within an hour and my friends also deleted the picture after realizing that he was wrong.

In addition, to say *****(maybe Ms. Daniel uses mandarin) to everyone.

 

I will also like to encourage anyone who has being misunderstood to speak up and present the truth when caught up in****(mandarin) situations.

 

Lastly, I would like to apologize again for upsetting anyone.

 

We are all from different cultures but I truly believe that more mutual understandings, love and peace will bring us together and make the world a better place.

7 times national champion's team stuff spitted and finned at National Chanpionships

UCI Women's World Tour Team Poitou-Charentes Futuroscope-86 rider Eri Yonamine's personal coach spitted at race commisssaire Mr. Matsukura when Yonamine was racing in Cyclo-cross Japan National Championships and finned by JCF. 

Yonamine appeared at the race as "Team Forza Yonex" rider.  She is 7 times Japan National Champion in ITT, RR, MTB-CX and represents her country at Rio de Janeiro Olympic.

Later, the coach roared at his twitter that Mr. Matsukura should die.

Our captain fantastic is fantastic in LA

Very nice to hear former captain of my 2011 seminar at Rikkyo and her all classmates invited to the second year of AADA. This is first in the history of the school.

Admission to the Second Year is by invitation. Selection is made on the basis of progress, potential and readiness to benefit from advanced training, as evidenced by classwork and examination plays from the First Year.

We know she is gifted talent and has very strong will to make things happen.

I'm looking for the moment when she invite us the SUPER Kato 2011 junior squad to the Academy award red carpet.

This exhibition is presented by the sophomore seminar class of the Department of Contemporary Culture and Society (Faculty of Sociology). 17 students did the roles of curator, photographer and Photoshop operator. They did everything in the project.

The students have been trying to create brand-new and exciting concept in their exhibition. They first planned to do exhibition in the flushing booths of rest rooms in the building No.5 and 8, to criticize their teacher who enforced them to do the exhibition. But fortunately the bureaucracy of the university turned down every plan they made because of the lack of “zen-rei”. In the end, they reluctantly accepted the fossil of the university office.

But the situation I think is another fuel for their creativity. They designed many patterns of colorful and unique A3 flyers and pinned them on the notice boards around the campus. So we must check every board if we want to see whole of the exhibition. In short, they merged main venue and pinned flyers into one big exhibition. I think this is incredible idea to criticize this strict and tighten up situation.

The fact that 14 students from 17 were just started to learn theories and techniques of photograph in April will knock you out. They are really talented and clever lads. I believe that they are one of the best team in Rikkyo University. I am very proud to have this brilliant year with them. This will be one of the best years in my life.

Finally, I want to send my warmest aloha to the Department and Professor Miura Masahiro for gave me the chance to meet the lads.

Paddling in the wake of Ancestors

Hokule’a 2007 Japan Voyage Crewmember Duke Kaneko had the christening ceremony of the OC-6 for his paddling o’hana yesterday. Their OC-6 christened “Pili Aloha” and blessed by Kumu Hula Tony Tauvela.

Duke boarded Hokule’a from Kumamoto to Fukuoka under captain Chad Baybayan and managed the welcome ceremony in Nagasaki.

After the Hokule’a voyage, Duke started his new project “Ocean Legend” to expand the spirit of the voyaging o’hana. Duke and his family live in Shonan area of Kanagawa prefecture and paddle his outrigger canoe in Sagami Gulf every day. And there is the oldest evidence of the seagoing culture of Homo Sapience back to 18000 B.C. in the gulf. The ancestors of Shonan area paddled their dugout boat to Izu-Oshima, Kozu Shima and Miyake Jima. Then the people of Jomon period paddled at least 100km of the open ocean across the Kuroshio Current to Hachijo-Jima 3500 B.C. These ancestors apparently are the ocean legend of Nippon Archipelago. But their aretalogy are forgotten.

Duke aims to revive that seagoing culture of Sagami Gulf and Izu Islands, by uniting the islands with his OC-6. Duke had been to Hachijo-Jima and Ogasawara last summer and spread his o’hana in the islands by talking the stories of Polynesian great paddlers and voyaging tradition.

Duke and his o’hana will depart Wada beach of Misaki (Last stop of Hokule’a before the canoe arrived Yokohama in 2007) to Hachijo-Jima this summer.
