Why is an intern needed?

BECAUSE......according to a report by a well-known survey company:

43 % of workers call in sick at least once a year despite not being so.

And while calling in sick is common, employers are catching on to the ruse:
23 % said an employee has been fired for missing work without a legitimate reason.

Here are some funny & actual examples of excuses given by real-life workers for missing work:

1) I'm too drunk to drive to work.
2) I accidentally flushed my keys down the toilet.
3) I had to help deliver a baby on my way to work.
4) I accidentally drove through the automatic garage door before it opened.
5) My boyfriend's snake escaped and I'm afraid to leave the bedroom until he gets
home.
6) I'm too fat to get into my work pants.
7) God didn't wake me.
8) I cut my fingernails too short. They're bleeding and I have to go to the doctor.
9) The ghosts in my house kept me up all night.
10) I forgot I was getting married today.
11) My cow bit me.
12) My son accidentally fell asleep next to the wet cement in our backyard.
His foot fell into the cement and we could not get it out.
13) I was watching a guy fixing a septic pump, fell into the hole and hurt myself.
14) I was walking my dog and slipped on a toad in my driveway and hurt my back.
15) My house lock jammed and I'm locked in.
