¡¡¡¡ I remembered the melody was played at the beginning of ¡ÈDr.No¡É,

¡¡¡¡one of the series of ¡È007¡É.

Then I searched on the internet web site,
¡¡¡¡ I found that the origin of this rhyme is based in English history.

The ¡Æfarmer¡Çs wife¡Ç refers to the daughter of King Henry ­¼, Queen Mary ­µ.

She was a staunch Catholic and her violent persecution of Protestants
¡¡¡¡ led to the nickname of ¡ÆBloody Mary¡Ç.

The ¡Æthree blind mice¡Ç were three noblemen who adhered to the Protestant faith
¡¡¡¡¡¡who were convicted of plotting against the Queen,
¡¡¡¡ she did not have them dismembered and blinded as inferred in
¡¡¡¡ ¡ÆThree blind mice¡Ç, but she did have them burnt at the stake!
