Truth of Yasukuni - Why do we visit Yasukuni ?

Hello,
The Yasukuni shrine, which is located in Tokyo and enshrines the 2.5
million Japanese war dead, is controversial in Asia at the moment.
China and Korea criticize the Japanese politicians for visiting the shrine
to worship and honour the war dead, as they claim Yasukuni also
enshrines the class-A war criminals like Hideki Tojo, who is regarded
as conducting the world war 2.
But as a Japanese, I must tell to you a very important cultural and
religious difference between China or Korea and Japan.

In fact, in Japan, everyone, good or bad, once he or she is dead,
should be respected, enshrined and honoured equally. Even very bad
person or villains, once dead, go to the heaven, and we are supposed
to worship them.  Japanese simply wish that the soul, once dead,
rest in peace.
This simply applies to the war criminals, too. That¡Çs all.

Besides, it is generally believed that such soul of bad person may
become an evil spirit, if not properly worshiped, and cause a bad
damage or a curse to people or society.
For those 2 reasons, Japanese enshrines them in the Yasukuni, not
in order to deny the history nor to justify the fact that the war
criminals were responsible for the war.
I hope you now noted that it is not a political issue but actually
cultural matters, which I think the other nations shouldn¡Çt interfere
with.

Your comments, if any, would be welcome.
