今でしょ、の英訳っていえば now or never ですが・・・、香川真司の記事で実例の勉強です。
これはユナイテッドが首位アーセナルに挑む前日に、香川真司が now or neverって言っているという記事です。
結局アーセナル戦に先発できて、まさしく「やるなら今でしょ」でしたけど・・
「急に言われても無理でしょ」って感じで、今一つでしたね。
ディフェンスは頑張ってましたが、インパクトを残せなかったっていうか。

The Gunners are eight points clear of the champions and could pour
cold water over United's ambitions for the title today if they can continue their great start to the season. Kagawa acknowledges that victory won't come easily against an Arsenal team that is high in confidence, but insists David Moyes' team have the guile to claim a win. “It is imperative for us to get three points by winning the game against Arsenal at Old Trafford,” he explained. “We need to achieve it in a calm and professional manner. To close the gap on them, we have to win the game. That's what we need. “They have quality players with lots of technical skills. We need to
work hard for 90 minutes if we are to win the game. A match like this is one that any player would look forward to. I need to prepare myself fully for it.” Kagawa also revealed he's found his confidence boosted by the
knowledge his team-mates know how he likes to play. “Every single day, and in every match, I put great effort in as if
there is no second chance. For instance, in training, I try my best to let my team-mates know my style of play," he added. "Having worked together for more than a year, I believe they can
see it now. We keep working to make our link-up much better.” |

うーん、イマイチすぎ(恥）。 ふ~、とはいえ自分の英語の発音を聞くというのは勉強になります。
アメリカ英語よりイギリス英語のほうが、まだ話しやすいかもです。。
