I'm on tenterhooks!

何度見ても。

　先週、フラッと立ち寄ったＣＤ屋さんで激安ＤＶＤを見つけました！

　なんと、５００円！（しかも税込み！！）最初見た時、中古なのかな？と思いましたが、ちゃんとした新品！迷わず大好きな『ローマの休日』を買いました♪

　どうして、オードリーってこんなにかわいいのでしょう？何十年も経っているのに世界中が認めるこの美貌。永遠の憧れです。

　私が大好きなシーンはグレゴリー・ペックが真実の口に手を入れて、噛み切られてしまった振りをして
アン王女を驚かすところ。何回見ても楽しいです☆

　女優の山咲千里さんがオードリーの映画を見て英語を勉強したと言っていました。ローマの休日はさすが、王女様役。きれいなセリフですね。私もこれを見て勉強するのもいいなって。あとマイフェアレディーなんかもアクセントの勉強に良さそう。今度見つけたら買ってみようかな？



I found out quite cheap DVD at CD shop.only 500yen!Can you believe?(in addition,included tax)
I wondered it might be second hand or not but it was new one!I decided to buy “Roman Holiday”immediately!

Why Audrey Hepburn is so beautiful?Already it past over 50years from this film,she is still loved by everyone all over the world.

My favourite scene is Gregory Peck put in the “Mouth of Truth”and then he played as if his hand was bitten.

I heard Ms.Senri Yamasaki(actress)learnt English with Audrey films.I agree with her! cuz Princess Anne speaks very beautiful accent!Maybe next,I will buy “My Fair Lady”！

　

I love Guiness!!

　５月から月曜日の仕事後、英会話の教室に通うことになりました。今日はレベルを見ておいた方がいいとのことだったので見学してきました。
　かなりリラックスしてできる感じだったので、英語を忘れないようにするためにも通いたいと思います。嬉しかったのは先生がイギリス人なこと。かなりブリティッシュアクセントだったので、　イギリス英語を勉強したい私にとっては嬉しい限りです。
　
　私は家でお酒を飲むことはめったに無いのですが、帰りのバスを待っている間に時間があったのでイギリス英語頑張ろう！！とのことでアイルランドビール『Guiness』を買ってみました♪ビールは苦手なんですが、『Guiness』、黒ビールは大好きなんです☆この苦味がたまらないっ！！


I decieded to take English lesson on Monday after work from May.An adviser suggested me check level so I joined class today.
Class was quite relaxed,I wanna take lessons not to forget English.I am happy about teacher is a British!He has British accent,it is best for me!!

I seldom drink alcohol at house but I bought a can of beer “Guiness”!!while I was waiting for a bus.I don't really like beer but except “Guiness”!!bitter taste is fantastic!!

　今日は私の大好きなテレビ番組を紹介します！！
　“Late Show with David Letterman”というアメリカのコメディーショーです。ヤンキースの松井選手もゲストで出たこともある大人気の番組です。今週は超豪華ゲストが続出です。

　デンゼル・ワシントン（木）

　こんな感じです。すごい番組ですよね。
　今はインターネットで見たりしています。ジョークとか雰囲気がすごくアメリカンな感じです。

タイトル I'm on tenterhooks!

　今回はブログタイトルについて紹介しようと思います。
　以前、イギリス人の友達に「一番好きな言葉ってなあに？」と聞いたところ、「I'm on tenterhooks!」との答え。私は訳がわからず、辞書で調べると「布張りのくぎ」。えっ！？くぎ？しかも布張り？なんじゃ、そりゃあ。ますます訳がわからず、困惑した顔でいると、「I'm excited!」の意味だよとのこと。なるほど！！それ以来、私はこの言葉が大好きになり、ブログのタイトルにしてしまいました。なんか、かわいくないですか？ちなみにこの辞書は私が留学時代に愛用していた物です。
