The senses perceive nothing but the shadow of beliefs.

感覚はこれ信念の影を視るに過ぎず。

Although you may possess spiritual eyes and see the figure of a spirit,

汝ら霊眼を備えて霊姿を視るとも

You have not seen Reality.

実在を視たるに非ず、

All that you can perceive through your senses are merely shadows of the mind and not the principal Reality.

感覚にて視得るものは
すべて心の影にして第一義的実在にあらず、

Spirits differ in their appearance.

霊姿に甲乙あり、

There are spirits who are ill,

病める霊あり、

There are spirits who are suffering,

苦しめる霊あり、

There are spirits who suffer from a stomach disorder although they have no stomach,

胃袋もあらざるに胃病に苦しめる霊あり、

There are spirits who suffer from a heart disease, yet they have no heart of their own

心臓も有たざるに心臓病にて苦しめる霊あり、

--These are all delusions.

これすべて迷いなり。

斯くの如き霊、人に憑れば

When such spirits possess a man,

憑られたる人或は胃病を顕はし、
或は心臓病を顕はす。

The possessed manifests either a stomach disorder or a heart disease.

されど霊覚に映ずる
さまざまの苦しめる霊は、
第一義的実在にあらず、

Yet the various suffering spirits
That appear to the spiritual senses are not the principal Reality.

彼らは誤れる信念によりて
流転せる迷の影なり。

They are the shadows of constantly changing delusions driven by mistaken beliefs.

迷ひ迷ひて流転せる心は
その信念が形となりて仮の相（すがた）を現ずべし。

The beliefs of the erroneous mind, constantly changing, may appear as a temporary form.

されど如何に相（すがた）を現ずるとも
仮相（かりのすがた）は永遠に仮相にして実在となることを得ず。

Yet, whatever the form that may appear,
A temporary form is eternally false and can never be Reality.

汝ら、実在にあらざる物を恐るること勿れ、

Do not fear what is unreal,

実在にあらざる物を実在せるが如く扱ふこと勿れ。

Do not treat as Reality what is unreal.

実在にあらざる物には実在をもつて相対せよ。

Confront what is unreal with Reality.

真にあらざるものには真をもつて相対せよ。

Dismiss what is not true with the true.

仮相（かりのすがた）に対しては実相を以て相対せよ。

Oppose falsehood with the True Image.

闇に対しては光をもつて相対せよ。

Face darkness with light.

非実在を滅するものは実在のほかに在らざるなり。

Only Reality can extinguish unreality.

仮相（かりのすがた）を破るものは実相のほかに在らざるなり。

Only the True Image can destroy falsehood.

虚妄（こもう）を壊（え）するものは真理のほかに在らざるなり。

Only Truth c an breakdown untruth.

闇の無を証明するものは光のほかに在らざるなり。

Only Light can prove the nothingness of darkness.

彼らに生命の実相を教えよ。

Teach them the True Image of life.

彼らに生命の実相が神そのものにして完全なる事を教えよ。

Teach them that the True Image of life is God Himself and perfect.

神はすべてなるが故に
神は罪を作らざるが故に
神のほかに造り主なきが故に

Teach them that since God is All in all,
Since He did not create sin
And since there is no Creator other than God,

此の世界に犯されたる罪もなく
報いらるべき罪もなきことを教えよ。

In this world there is neither the committing of sin nor sin to be atoned for.

三界の諸霊
三界の諸生命

When all the spirits in the universe
And all living beings in the universe

この真理を観じ、
この真理をさとりて

Visualize this Truth,
Awaken to this Truth

一切苦患（くげん）の源となるべき
癲倒妄想（こころのまよひ）を摧破（さいは）すれば、

And destroy all delusions of the mind which are the source of all sufferings,

天界の諸神ことごとく真理のコーラスを雨ふらし

All the angels of heaven will shower down a chorus of Truth

現世（このよ）の生命ことごとく光を仰ぎ、

And all life in this world will turn toward the Light.

惑障ことごとく消滅し、此世はこの儘にて光明世界を示現せん。

All delusions will vanish and this world will, as it is, turn into a brilliant paradise.
