Bloom Monday, March 31, 2014 SPIRITUAL IDEAS BLOOM IN MY HEART. When I hear about spiritual ideas such as love, generosity, and compassion, it is as if a seed has been planted in my mind. Just as a flower seed needs sun, rain, and time to take root, I nurture these divine ideas in prayer and meditation, and my understanding grows. Like the sun warms a seedling, the light of Spirit illuminates my mind. Just as the cooling rains quench the earth’s thirst, the love of God nurtures me. I tap into the light and love of God in the silence of meditation. Through prayer, I remove the weeds of error thoughts, and let them go. Spiritual ideas blossom in my life as bright and beautiful flowers. I am blessed. What was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit.―Matthew 13:23 |

Comfort Wednesday, March 26, 2014 GOD IS MY ALL IN ALL. It is possible to be alone yet not lonely; to feel down but not out; to experience loss and recover. All is possible because the spirit of God fills me with a steady stream of comfort and love. If I experience loss or a broken heart, I invite the love of God to heal me. Divine love is powerful in restoring my body, mind, and spirit. If I am grieving, I trust in the promise of Spirit’s comfort and restoration. I recall the story of Job, who went from having everything to losing everything―possessions, friendships, social status, and health. Eventually, God restored it all to Job, even beyond what had been lost. I trust in God within to restore me to wholeness. The ups and downs in life are temporary, but God’s love is constant and sure. Remember, I am with you always.―Matthew 28:20 |

Let Go, Let God March 25, 2014 I HAND MY WORRIES OVER TO THE POWER OF GOD WITHIN. I may wish I could guide and control the actions of others―yet trying to do so leads to frustration. My intentions may be good, but the choices and decisions of my loved ones are not mine to make. What I can do instead is let go―let go and let God. I let go of my need to be in charge and allow God’s love to shine through. I let go of any fear, anger, or doubt I may be experiencing, and in the process, I set myself free. As I release my concerns, giving each one over to God, divine energy surges through me and I am filled with serenity, strength, and encouragement. God is in the midst of every situation, and all is well. Today, one step at a time, I let go and let God. Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.―Philippians 4:6 |

Divine Idea Sunday, March 23, 2014 I AM OPEN AND RECEPTIVE TO THE MANIFESTATION OF DIVINE IDEAS. All creation comes from Divine Mind as divine ideas. I consciously connect with the mind of God to create in my own life. The divine ideas that flow through me spur wonderful experiences and blessings. spur:拍車をかける Once I conceive an idea and imagine its fulfillment, I act in cooperation with the all-powerful, all-loving, all-wise spirit of God within me to bring the idea to fruition. conceive:想像する、抱く、思いつく fruition:達成、実現 Creation is a divine process that is always at work. I stay aware, open, and receptive to divine ideas that arise in my mind. Faith Saturday, March 22, 2014 MY FAITH RESTS IN GOD WITHIN. Faith is not based on statistics or facts or what I perceive through my senses. Faith is “the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” It comes from confidence in the presence and power of God within. If I have succumbed to fear or worry, I consider the teachings of Jesus: “Have faith in God.” As I align my thoughts in accordance with this simple yet powerful teaching, my attitude shifts. I am uplifted, confident, and assured. I choose to place my trust in God―in Divine Love and Wisdom. In any situation, I focus on what I know to be true and unwavering ―the presence of God―and I am assured that all is well. Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God.”–Mark 11:22 |
