石林

奇岩で有名な石林です。雲南省の省都の昆明の近くです。
昔、海底だったところが隆起し、その後侵食されて、今のような形状になったようです。

崇聖寺

三塔に隣接している崇聖寺です。
今は昔ほど大きくないと言われていますが、かなり立派なお寺でした。
背景に三塔を見たり、山を見たりできるので、景色を堪能できました。

崇聖寺三塔

崇聖寺にある３つのパゴダです。
大理王国、南宋時代は崇聖寺は周辺で最大の寺院でしたが、現在はその一部しか残っていないようです。
３つのパゴダの姿は剣が空に刺さっているようだと言われています。
近くの池に写っているパゴダも非常に綺麗です。

They are situated on the ruins of Chongsheng Monastery.
In the time of Nanzhao and Dali Kingdoms, Chongsheng Monastery was the largest in this area and the Three Pagodas were only part of it.
Now the monastery has disappeared and what only remain are the Three Pagodas which stand magnificently like there giant swords piercing into the sky.

大理古城

雲南省の観光地の１つ大理です。
過去の大理王国の首都で、現在は白族の自治区となっています。
現在の古城は明朝時代に建設されました。
白い石でできた建物は多いのが分かると思いますが、大理は石材の産地で、大理で産出される石が大理石のルーツです。

Dali Bai Nationality Autonomous Prefecture has one city and 11 counties within its jurisdiction.
Population: 1 million
Dali was capital of Dali kingdom.
Dali old town was first established in the early period of the Ming Dynasty.
Most of buildings in Dali is walled by white stone, it's origin of “Dairiseki”.

黒竜譚公園

黒竜譚公園は麗江にある公園で、清朝時代に作られました。
公園の中心に池があり、竜が棲んでいると言われています。

The Black Dragon Pool Park was built in the Qing Dynasty, in 1737.
It is said that the palace of the Black Dragon King of Lijiang is situated here.
There is a pool in the park, which is so deep that it seems to have been inhabited by a dragon.
