【コンゴ】予審第一法廷、24日に公開審問を予定

ルバンガ裁判のＩＣＣ予審第一法廷、24日に審問を予定

２０日付けで国際刑事裁判所の広報室（ICC-CPI）が発表した内容によると、ICCの予審第一法廷は２４日（月曜）、ルバンガ裁判に関する手続き等を審議するための公開審問を開くそうです。

２００６年６月２７日に予定されている罪状確認のための公開審問において、検察側と弁護側の情報および証拠の交流が円滑になるよう、法廷では次の二点について、検察官と弁護人同席のもとで審議を行う予定です。

（1）情報および証拠等の開示手続き
（2）これら手続きにおける書記局の役割

Pre-Trial Chamber I to hold Public Hearing on Procedural Matters

On Monday 24 April, 2006 from 14.30, the Pre-Trial Chamber I of the International Criminal Court will hold a public hearing on procedural matters in the case of the Prosecutor v. Thomas Libanga Dyilo.  

The Chamber will examine in the presence of the Prosecutor and the Defence procedures to facilitate the exchange of information and evidence between the Office of the Prosecutor and the Defence prior to the confirmation hearing scheduled on 27 June 2006. The role of the Registry in these procedures will also be discussed.

Journalists accredited with the International Criminal Court and wishing to cover the hearing are requested to arrive at the Court no later than 14.15 p.m.
