気候変動委員のイケダです。

インドネシアから火山噴火のご報告≪続報≫
〜「噴火は小康状態か？ スラバヤではその後降灰なし」〜
昨日皆様に上記テーマの報告をご紹介させて頂きましたが、その報告者のうちのお一人のナカガワ様から、早速続報が寄せられました。
少し安心できる内容に、小生個人的にはホッと致しております。 火山噴火の被害に関する報告 （2月19日） **********************************************************

インドネシア . （24-2 JICAボランティア ナカガワ様 より 第③報 14/2/19 22:59着） スラバヤ在住のナカガワです。お世話になっています。 明日でちょうど一週間経った訳ですが、火山灰の飛散は収まっているようです。と言うのは、以前お話ししたように現在は雨季の真っ只中で、火山が噴火した先週金曜日から月曜日を除いて毎日スコールがあります。 スコールは２４時間中約２時間前後の雨ですので、残りの２２時間は火山灰が飛散していれば降って、積もるはずです。アパートに住み出しててから毎日、窓を少しだけ開けて出勤しています。特に噴火後は帰った時、窓枠を指でこすって確認しています。土曜日、日曜日は積もっていましたが現在はほとんど積もっていません。 ただ、これはスラバヤでの話しであり、風向き等の気象条件もあるので全ての都市で収まったかどうかは不明です。また私はテレビを見ませんので情報に疎く申し訳ありません。新聞だけが頼りですが、噴火に関する記事が徐徐に小さくなっている状況です。 余談ですが、 読んでいる新聞は「Jakarta Post」と言い、英字新聞でジャカルタから飛行機で送られてきます。噴火直後はスラバヤの飛行場閉鎖のため新聞が配達されず、ようやく月曜日（日曜日分）から配達が再開しました。 一番知りたかった時の新聞がなく、情報が欠けています。 申し訳ありません。 ナカガワ *********************************************************

二本松訓練所訓練生、雪かきボランティアで活躍
二本松訓練所のFacebookのHP 「JICA Nihonmatsu Training Center https://www.facebook.com/jicantc?hc_location=timeline」に、本日、写真付きで次の記事が掲載されました。 「先週末の大雪でいまだに孤立化している家屋が岳温泉の近くにあると聞き、訓練生たちはスコップを担いで雪かきに向かいました。500ｍの雪道を約2時間かけて掘り進み、ようやく軽トラックが通れる道幅まで広げることができました。 自宅の敷地からほぼ1週間振りに出てこられたSさんご夫妻は『これでようやく買い物に行けます。涙が出るほどうれしい。本当にありがとうございました。』と訓練生たちに感謝の意を表しておられました。」 気候変動セミナーを実施してきた当委員会としては、大変嬉しい思いを致しております。 で、写真付きでご覧頂けます。 $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

インドネシア・ジャワ島のクルド火山から25kmほど離れた町にご家族が住んでいらっしゃるという方から、本日情報を寄せて頂きました。
それによると、「クルドゥ山の噴火は落ち着いた。しかし火山灰/砂と大雨で排水路や屋根の雨どいが詰まって、泥水が工場に入り込む二次災害で大変」ということです。なかなかすぐに元通り、というわけにはいかないようです。
