4.LEGALISM ANDPHARISEEISMの続きです。 -------------------------------------------------------------- Supposing this Sunday morning I came in without a head covering and sat down. What do you think would happen? Well, people would initially become very nervous and uncomfortable, and then if after about 10 minutes I didn't put my hat on, I would get a reminder from someone, and if I still didn’t put my hat on, I would likely get reprimanded, and that's fine, I would expect that. It is after all a truth clearly laid out in Scripture, so a very easy one to “nail me on.” But let's say for the next 2 years I come and go, wear my skirts, wear a hat, don't wear make up, don't wear earrings, say all the right things, etc, but don't read my Bible or pray. Do you think people would notice or challenge me on it? Probably not. Why? Because no one ever cares enough to ask, or visit to encourage. |
